25,000 Indians 'ready to fight in Iraq to defend Shia holy sites'

If they do that then bee sure to see a pretty violent religious war in ME.

I dont see anything like that, even in 18th century Muhammad Bin Abdul Wahab Najadi (Wahabis are named after him) demolished most of the shrines in modern Saudi Arabia terming them unislamic, he did try to demolish Shrines of Karbala and Najaf but I think he was unsuccessful. It looks like ISIS want to accomplish the unfulfilled agenda of their spiritual leader.

.
I read somewhere that ISIS is planning to demolish shrines in karbala and najaf. Karbala and Najaf are to Shias what Makkah Madinah is for Sunnis. I can understand the frustration of shias all over the world.
That is there in their list of to dos - yes. Hope they never reach there. Millions of innocents will die on both sides in that case.

.
Shias are ~25% of total muslim population in India.

Shia's always exaggerate their numbers everywhere in the world, there is a propaganda on internet that Shias are 20 % of pakistan's population which is rubbish, they are at best 10 % of pakistani population, in my own city which is quite populous they are less than even 5 %, but they have significant numbers in karachi among mohajirs (same Lucknow, Hyderabad connections).

They even demolish the shrine of Bibi Khadija , who financed Islam. It feel Suadi take Islam as personal business. Still remembering the humiliation from Bani Hashim .....seem revenge till the end of time....lolzz

The numbers are from government database based on 2011 census.

What is there in shrines, they are of no islamic value, I don't mind if ISIS demolish shrines in Iraq , they are centres of unislamic activities.

.
i think we should let them go....and if sunnies want to join the fight...we should let them go to...
after all its their fight and they must do everything to protect what they want...

we all other should wait here and see how it ends...and then we can decide what to do....:pop:

You are Sunni and hence don't have moral right to dictate what Shia regard as their holiest shrine.

Who are this "we"?

Rest of non -Shia and non -Sunni population.

As you write this or I read this, the drones are getting ready and armed along with bombers from the nearest carriers. Remember there are now 40-50 sorties daily over Iraq carrying out surveillance (identifying targets). You know what I mean, US wont allow ME to become a volcano. Also it is wise to destroy the groups that cannot think of co-existence.
