What's new

22 Months of PTI Govt

Why is PTI holding that JIT & not publishing it yet?
PTI has nothing to do with JIT. Legally it is the property of Sindh govt. Its minister Ali Zaidi went to the SHC and got decision in favor. Now Sindh govt has to make this report public.

PTI will loose karachi big time next election and will never be elected from karachi again.
No problem then hand it over to MQM and PPP and enjoy.:chilli:

Thats not even half of half of what they've done. We truly do not give credit where it is due.
They haven't done a single project out of those listed, but they do are enjoying profits from the projects done by previous regime.
While on foreign policy matter PTI has been a complete disaster. specially miserably failing while trying to divide Muslim world, visiting US on Pakistan's tax payer money but pleading on behalf of Iran. What a junk we have at helm of affairs.

BTW, let me know, once BRT is completed!

Karachits voted to PTI in order to get rid of PPP & MQM political gangster & crimnals, to get rid of water crises etc. But what we observed is totally disappointing.
You want governor Raj in Sindh?

I have seen a lot of whining about current PTI govt being incompetent and not able to deliver in their first 22 months of being in power. Yes, it was never going to be an easy job to fix a country like Pakistan that was looted to the core in past 30+ years of PPP + PMLN rule and yes PTI has failed to live up to the expectations - but still there are things worth mentioning and highlighting that were done in this time. The purpose of this thread is to list down these things and see rationally whether it really is a failed and incompetent govt?

You may consider adding the tram on canal road and ravi riverfront urban development project, its the first of it's kind, a kind of riverfront new town in lahore, much like london
If he pulls this off, its good news for pti

Also, the first 42 floor building in lahore was ordered by the PM

their problem is that all projects are long term project,to support economy you need mixture of short term plus long term projects, when you not complete short term project to generate money with in few years long term projects will likely to face delays and setbacks due to lack of finance and other problems

.
The first visit to the United states by our PM since trump.
Plus
He didn't read from a paper

This guy is also particularly focusing on infrastructure
That's good news for archaic-obsessed people like me.

We had our fair share of short term projects when the sharifs were in power
And they didn't do us much good

The e challan is another thing, sorry, its all coming to me slowly

.
literacy rate and education as well as health care is not satisfactory, they also wasted money on infrastructure as evident from corruption in brt peshawar, hiding behind pmln crimes and wrong decisions not justify damages and wrong decision by this govt

There are zero standards for 'measuring' literacy rate in pakistan, all you have to do is write your name to be considered as literate in society. I have written an essay on the criterias that should be required for this.
So literacy rate? No
But even by those standards it currently stands much higher than what it was in the previous govt.

Second.
This guy revolutionized education
Uniform curriculum by 2021
And a tonne of things i cant list right now

I've also written a lot about the education system and this guy is on the right path, being a student, i know that our school system sucks to the core.

And lastly, trust me, the peshawar brt is thousands of times better than what we have in lahore, its almost complete and has a route that people actually use.

And for the achivements

We can also add

The uniform curriculum thing
And lift on the restriction for construction of high rise buildings
The first time in history of pakistan, that electric cars are slowly rising, like kia etc
By 2030 30 pc of our cars will be electricity powered

Revolution from the future. Doing nothing now and talking about 2021. I am sure any jack can tell you what they will do in the future - I can promise you in 2025 I will build a taj mahal in Pakistan. So why not vote for me instead?

Thats great news, my friend! surely I'll vote for you..
but have you made a plan? A public conference? Do you have a minister for the relevant job? Did you include this stuff in your manifesto before you got elected?

Have you imported the marble from srilanka and afghanistan for the taj mahal?
That's a really irrelevant thing to say. The single curriculum policy has already been semi- implemented
it just has to make its way through religious schools and private schools
Govt. and federal schools already study the same curriculum..

It has not been implemented, they say they will implement it from a date in the future, in 2021 somewhere.

I also have a bridge to sell you if you are interested...

FYI I was in the PTI think tank back in 2012 and one of the people that pushed the single curriculum forward. My name ended up in newspapers being attacked for it. I really hope something eventually happens. I'm just not happy with PTI and how they have spent the last 2 years.

It's march 2021, when the new academic year begins, the coronavirus has given us a long long time to plan, it is a golden opportunity something we never had before, if you look into history, we never really had time to plan these things, the 2000s early 2010s were nothing but terrorism and after all that, everyone was transfixed on panama and stuff like that. I really believe that by 2021 this will be real, in some ways, it already is
