The ban is only on govt-2-govt or bodies/ppl which represent Indian govt. There are no restrictions on ppl who visit in their individual capacity. Its only that some times some idiots go overboard and issue stupid statements that everyone is barred from talking to ppl across the border.

Thank you for your nice words..Not sure, how to present my thought rationally. To be honest, even i do not know exactly, what is the majority of people of India with respect to Pakistan...Because, India is itself such a diverse in , that it takes time for any one to understand a true national sentiment..
If you ask in Hindi belt, then yes, Pakistan do not create a positive response...But if i see it towards, east, North east and South , the animosity towards Pakistan is not in the same way as in North..

So my overall sentiment is, we all know, both of the countries have challenge in making a neighborhood, where we may not be friends, but we can not continue to live like an enemy.. Even i was really amazed to know, that in Pakistan day celebration, Indian consulate was not participating in Pakistan till today. I am not sure, if it is an issue with Indian Gov or Pakistan, but this is really ridiculous where we are not even congratulating to each other on special days.
