They didn't leave. They were made to leave. I was in Crete a few months back. During WWII, the entire Jewish population of Crete was made to board a ship on its way to Germany, marked for extermination. The ship sank in any case, and so drowned all the Jews of Crete. Just like that, the entire islands Jewish population wiped out. This is the story of the Jews everywhere. By your logic, one could say the Jews "left" Crete.

And please don't make it sound as if Jews are creating "issues" in Arabland. The Arabs are the issue, which the whole world is dealing with at the moment.
