Iran's policy backfired? Are you kidding? Some of these groups exist from 1940s, it's not like they suddenly appeared.

as if you do not know it.. if you make them one way stronger than the other way it will be worse for you too.. if they will be stronger in turkey.. than they will be stronger in iran , if they are strong in syria than they will be strong in both regions.. if you want to weaken them then they need to be weakened in all places (countries)..

We've no problems with Kurds and their "problem" in Iran is artifical, it doesnt exist. Barzani got green light from some of his friends... to annoy Iran and he'll regret it very soon.

when we cleaned this infestation the remain escape into Iraqi Kurdistan , and when we dealt with them again the ones who thought of this misadventures will be sorry and as previous times beg us to stop.
the cute part is we didn't send any of our 500000 strong army there to deal with them ,just the local IRGC was enough and Blackeagle dreaming of ...

Yes, some countries wiped out 30000 villages, supported extremists against kurds, didnt even allow them to speak their language or called them mountain-turks. Except some political problems, In Iran kurds never faced cultural problems and never faced racism from the rest of the country.

We're enjoying as our country proves itself. The Iranian Kurdish groups are leftovers of the 40's-70's and remnants of soviet union, They're screaming for some attention from the local population ("we're still active, don't forget us"). They're fighting just to survive as armed groups, Kurdish issue is not central anymore, but the survival of the group is now the main focus. Funds and propaganda make that possible, exactly like MEK. Also Like MEK, and unlike PKK in Turkey, they lost all the contacts with the people and they don't live/walk freely between the people. They've no support.

if an powerfull Kurdish party that powerfull in scale of PKK fight againist Iran, IRGC will loss at least 10 soldiers on dayly basis...cause..Iran air and land forces have many serious lacks in respect of advanced weapons...Their Russian made armored vechiles dond resist even RPGs and 50 kg ammunitaions...

But relative to PKK, PAK anad PDKI very weak parties and totally have some 200-300 militans....
But in respect of welfare and politic freedom Iran Kurds are in a terrible state...Every month Kurdish youngs have been executed by regime due to politic opinions...poverty and oppressions make Kurdish youngs ready to participate in outlaw armed groups.

BTW, Iran has much more big ethnic danger than Kurds...They are 25- 30 millions of Irani Turks....Ethnic unrest steadly escaletes among Turks againist regime.

Kurdish Rebels Clash With Iran’s Revolutionary Guards
By THOMAS ERDBRINKJUNE 27, 2016

TEHRAN — Kurdish rebels and Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps have engaged in armed clashes along the mountainous Iranian border with Iraq in recent days, raising tensions in the region, Iranian state television reported.

On social media, there are videos that purport to show the shelling of positions held by the rebels, the Kurdish Democratic Party of Iran. While both groups claim to have killed over a dozen of their opponents, there are no reliable figures as yet, Iran’s state news agency, IRNA, reported.

The Kurdish Democratic Party of Iran has been striving for decades for independence in the Kurdish areas of western Iran. While many of Iran’s approximately six million Kurds feel strong connections to the nation, they speak a separate language and are mostly Sunni Muslims in a Shiite country. The Kurdish regions, like all Iranian border regions, are poor compared with Iran’s larger cities.

The rebels have clashed periodically with the Iranian armed forces, at times ambushing military patrols. They say some of their leaders were assassinated in Europe in the 1980s and ’90s, and that Iran has been executing activists linked to their cause.

The Guard Corps base in the region, Hamzeh Seyyed ol-Shohada, said in a statement on Saturday that the clashes were continuing in the area of Mahabad, a Kurdish city, and the Sarvabad border area. It said that a number of “terrorists linked to counterrevolutionary groups” had been killed in the fighting.

“The operation is underway for the destruction of the remaining terrorists,” the statement said.

President Hassan Rouhani visited the Kurdish region on June 1, promising the opening of Kurdish-language centers. “The mother tongue of ethnic groups, especially of Kurds, should be respected and recognized,” Mr. Rouhani said in a speech in Mahabad. On the same visit, the president inaugurated a petrochemical complex, one of the largest state investments in the region.

Mahabad was the capital of a short-lived modern Kurdish state, the Republic of Mahabad, established in 1946. That attempt at Kurdish statehood ended with a bloody crackdown by the Iranian monarchy.

One Iranian general, Mohammad Pakpour, said the rebels were supported by “reactionary states,” a label Iran uses for Persian Gulf kingdoms. Iran often accuses Sunni nations of supporting Sunni separatists groups against the government.

usa knows kurds or sunni or any other ethnic card against Islamic IRAN cannot be effective since IRAN is shia country. IRAN is immune to such things and this all backfire on those who try to play such cards. all this non-sense can be effective against any sunni country since none of them including turkey is independent. they all are independent like ksa and turkish president is even seen talking and spreading hate against own Turk Gulen community. so turkey is on path of losing unity of its people while Islamic IRAN will keep itself united and powerful. while terrorists gangs operating in the region will get bang as usual when they approach near Islamic IRAN.

For a wahhabi every thug and terrorist is a freedom fighter and every news about bleeding is evangel. God hasn't created any creature worse than wahhabi rats.

While foaming in the mouth, I should tell you guys (anyone getting an orgasm over these minor clashes) that PDKI so far have their behind handed to them. We have 3 martyrs, 2 local Sunni Kurds allied with IRGC and an IRGC soldier, while PDKI has lost 22 terrorists.

@BLACKEAGLE I recommend reading this before getting too excited, to a point that may be dangerous for your health.

2011 Iran–Iraq cross-border raids

And guess what? PJAK was much more powerful than PDKI and Komala combined.

If I were you, I'd worry more about this:

Official: 6 Killed, 14 Wounded in Jordan Border Attack

Jordanian border guards were killed by a suicide vehicle which was given to Syrian opposition by Jordan Muppet king. Talk about bad decisions and the Karma.
Respected mod. Please read the title. It is about Iran. Please don't derail the thread by bringing Jordan related news. :offpost:

. . .
You don't have any solid proof for that. So far the op has not said anything that would make it a troll thread.

The OP is a known anti-Iranian poster.

The original topic is just a Wikipedia article. Imagine if we all went to Wikipedia and made new threads based on articles. Wouldn't the forum be a bit pointless then?
