Hey, is that an Indian army officer with Dalai and his Tibetan rebels? So peaceful that they're receiving weapons and training from India and CIA. Going by your logic, why are you hunting down these "peaceful" Maoist activists you have?

Congress leaders, Chhattisgarh police give SOP a miss, walk into Red’s trap.
NEW DELHI: Even as information regarding the daring Maoist attack on Congress leaders in Chhattisgarh trickles in, initial reports reaching here suggest that the politicians and the state police may have committed the oft-repeated mistake of ignoring the standard operating procedures (SOP) and literally walked into the Naxalites' trap by returning in vehicles as part of convoy rather than spacing them out to minimize casualties in the event of an ambush.
The incident, which killed former Leader of Opposition in the state Mahendra Karma and others and injured veteran party leader Vidya Charan Shukla, has left many in Central security establishment wondering if the politicians, who were reportedly returning from a Congress rally in Sukma, had also bothered to explore a different route for return — another key SOP reiterated time and again for the benefit of state police and Central security force personnel deployed in the counter-Naxal grid. Ignoring these SOPs has in the past led to hundreds of security personnel getting killed in landmine attacks.
"It appears the state administration, which had been informed of the rally, was a little complacent in assessing the threat levels while making the security arrangements. Given that polls are due in the state later this year, such political rallies were expected to take place," a senior MHA official pointed out.
Incidentally, Karma, the chief architect of Salwa Judum, was a Z-plus protectee and the state government was handling his security detail, which included mobile security. The fact that he was target of an assassination attempt by the Naxalites only last year, should have made the state government even more alert, more so when he was moving in a Naxal stronghold along with other senior Congress leaders of the state.
With information from the ground also suggesting that the state Congress president may have been abducted, the Centre is also wary of a hostage drama unfolding in the days to come. This may involve a major security cost, as the Maoists have been known to use abductions to secure concessions including the release of their jailed leaders.
The big political assassination comes at a time when the incidence of Maoist attacks in Chhattisgarh was witnessing a steady decline. Incidents were down to 370 in 2012 from 465 in 2011 and 625 in 2010. Killings by Naxalites, too, had dipped from 343 in 2010, including the 74 CRPF men killed in a single ambush in Dantewada attack, and 204 in 2011 to 109 in 2012. The figures for 2013 (until March 31) were even lower: just 59 incidents and 14 deaths as compared to 91 incidents and 17 deaths in the corresponding period last year.
In fact, Jharkhand has overtaken Chhattisgarh over the last couple of years in terms of incidence of Naxal violence. The incidents recorded in Jharkhand — between January 1 and March 13, 2013 — were double the figure reported from Chhattisgarh.
