Yeah, hostile local people, terrain, geography, Guerrilla ambush attack, lack of resource all played vital role in breaking the backbone of Pakistan Army. India only attacked when it was sure of Certain victory with minimum casualty.. Most of the Country land was free ( mukto elaka) before India-Pak war, For instance - village in Jamalpur where my Mother's family was hiding was free from March.......

We attacked when our air bases got attacked by PAF. Literally within a week of the incident. Although the refugee problem probably played a much bigger role...

No, India didn't! It never trained Mukti before 1971. infact there was no mukti before 25th march! Core of Mukti Bahini was first formed by Bengali soldiers in pakistan military after 25th march, then people joined one by one by crossing border, most awami leaders were in Kolkata....

The biggest failure of Pakistan was its military doctrine in 1971, i.e. the defense of the east was in the west. Meaning that in case of war with India, Pakistan will put majority of its military assets on the western front to gain maximum territory and negotiate with India from a position of strength. This failed miserably in '71 because inspite of Pakistan putting majority of its military resources on the western front, they were not able to make even minor gains in the western front.
If the mukti bahini was all that successful, why would the Pakistani's surrender to Indian's instead of the Bangalis?

Pakistan started the proxy war even earlier in 1960s by training Naga and Mizo insurgents.

Learn some history before making nonsensical comments.....the war in erstwhile east Pakistan had already started towards the end of November, with Indian army using artillery and skirmishes taking place between PAF and Iaf, with casualties on both sides.
That was back in 1971, however more recently, BR seem to be paying back with dividends.
