Around 15:32 minutes into the documentary "Modern Warfare: Six Day War - Third Arab-Israeli War", looks like Israeli vehicle is decorated with Pakistani looking flags (jhandiyaan).

Pak Flags on Israeli Jeeps.jpg

Online search for the flags with crescent and star seems to show a narrow white stripe on one end only on Pakistani flag.

Was a Pakistani-looking flag ever used by Israelis?
Or could it be that documentary maker used some footage that is not Israeli?
Or could it be that Arab vehicle captured by Israelis had Pakistani jhandiyaan on it?
Or is there some other explanation?

.
Any guess, speculation, rumor, fact?

@Imran Khan bhai, may be down a sip and make a guess :coffee:

These jhandiyaan look exactly like Pakistani flags :pakistan:, but on an Israeli vehicle! in 1967 war!

Looks like an M35 truck. This truck has been in service with both Pakistani and Israeli army

Salaam

Maybe the Israelis really like Pakistan? :D

On a serious note: seems likely the vehicle was captured and it had been decorated with Pakistani flags prior to capture.

Cresent and Star is widely used symbols for Islam, it could be that Israeli forces these flags to confused the enemies, in order to give them impression of a friendly reinforcements ? I don't think at that time Israeli's even care about Pakistan, they don't even do now its just us Pakistani's who wants to fight the whole damn world but can't even manage a insurgency back home.

Na, your post just does not make any sense. So Israel used Pakistani flag, a non-arab country sitting far away, and could not use Egyptian Flag or Saudi Flag, or Jordanian, or any other Arab country flag???

They have changed the video titleHere is video at the timestamp

I see it. interesting. how do we know that those aren't Pakistani advisors that were stationed in Jordan? the video is very hay to be able to make the facial features out?

it could also be deception on part of the isrealis to pretend to be Pakistani troops to deceive the local population... there were a few Pakistani troops deployed in Jordan during the 67 war as advisors that's well known fact.

Star and crescent was introduced by the ottomons ------- their ethno-cultural back ground check is necessary while Islam has got nothing to do with symbols . Out Prophet Saww like Prophet David has only Lord Almighty and not any segile/signs.
