The list excludes attrition and retired aircrafts.
according to Air Vice Marshal AK Tiwary during 1965 IAF had 466 combat aircraft against PAF 203. These combat aircraft were acquired from 1950s to 1960s so what happened to 60% of IAF fleet in 15 years? Is their any record to prove 60% of IAF fleet depleted due to attrition and retirement?
