16 soldiers martyered and 40 injured in TTP/ISKP attack in Baluchistan

Every country is progressing and building their economies and infrastructure while Pak is still getting bullied by ragtag tribal militias after decades. Not even the Taliban are facing any insurgencies anymore. Pakistan is now Somalia with nukes, but at least Somalia is taking the fight to Al-Shabab and starting to get its act together.

Bro two words: PAK Army, when have they ever let us down? plus there's many more mighty 4 star generals in the making.. as long as we don't succumb to common sense i.e. democracy, and close our eyes, cover our ears and let our generals to continue to lead us.. we will continue to excel leaving even G7 countries behind.. China and USA are probably envious at us right now..*

The generals are busy winning for America. They don't care about our jawaans. Where are the effing drones? Oh sorry they all sit in GHQ
Do you see the video of the officers observing the footage on the hand-held? It is coming from UAV feed.

The army is filled with countless div and bde commanders who absolutely care for their boys and are with them during operations.

The above video was not published by ISPR, it is from a personal device showing the officers (Corps, Divisional and Brigade commanders working with their field officers and troops meaning the military is going about its professional business as it always has).

Honestly, there is a place and time for critique, I don't see anyone offering any specific solutions for these cross-border attacks against us. I am absolutely with you on condemning the machinations of Gen Asim Muneer and cohort with PDM, nothing but absolute condemnation of that, but the boys on the ground fighting and making the ultimate sacrifices cannot be dismissed on account of indifference for the CoAS and his coterie.

Total bull...why were they watching and not sending in armed drones in support.

You are probably associated to some corrupt senior officer and hence the blind support.

Why our jawaans keep dying? Why. Why. Why? So stop your bs please. These people are inept.

Polite Warning: Please don't abuse people especially sir @PanzerKiel , there is no need for it. You can have a discussion without abuse. Yes we have our differences, we are all hurting, it will take a looong time to rebuild what has been broken, and even then some wounds will not heal. But please, do not abuse or promote abuse of the sepoy who is standing like a stalwart wall in the piping sun till the heels on his feet crack from the heat, the joints of his knees ache, and the sweat from his brow drenches his collar.

He who is nameless, faceless, just a uniform, a title, a cog in a much wider machine, is a human being just like you, he too has loved ones, he too has a family, hopes/fears/aspirations. Do you know why people put on a uniform? It is not for the discounted samosa and cup of tea, it is for the chance to spill blood for the nation, but above and beyond all these things that Sepoy that is maligned today is a PAKISTANI too. Do not let the actions for a few tarnish your impression of the many.

There are many things people here and everywhere are not privy to, there is a lot of misinformation on the internet. Do you not believe everything you see:

A group of terrorists attacked a security facility in Balochistan on Friday and an operation to capture the culprits was currently ongoing, the military's media wing reported.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) revealed that a Frontier Corps (FC) Camp in Muslim Bagh area in Northern Balochistan was attacked In the early hours of Friday morning.

"Commander 12 Corps is supervising the security forces operations being conducted at Muslim Bagh area in Balochistan where the terrorists have been cornered into a building complex," the military sources said. adding that at least two of them have already been killed.

"The security forces continue to maintain pressure on the terrorists," the statement added, saying that a "heavy exchange of fire is underway.

"In the process of clearance operation, two soldiers have embraced shahadat (martyrdom) while another three are injured."

Two weeks ago, seven terrorists were killed as security forces gallantly fought off three assaults within a short span of time in the night between April 28 and 29 in Lakki Marwat, the ISPR said.

Three soldiers were also martyred in fierce exchange of fire during the encounters with terrorists in Lakki Marwat town and the general area of Amir Kalam and Tajbi Khel.

During his maiden press conference, on April 25, as director general of the ISPR, Maj-Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry had revealed that a total of 8,269 intelligence-based operations (IBOs) had been conducted since January as a result of which 1,535 terrorists had been killed or apprehended.

Of these, 4,040 IBOs were conducted in Balochistan, another 3,591 in K-P, 119 in Punjab and 519 operations were conducted in Sindh. On average, over 70 IBOs were being conducted daily by the army, police and LEAs since January, he continued.

There are many... Many in the army who share the sentiments as you have. Recent response of the army as a whole to this recent situation is a witness to that.

Let's hope Pakistan as a country comes on the top, above all institutions and parties, as the ultimate winner. If this happens, it would never matter which small institution or party looses. Pakistan as a winner should be acceptable to all and sundry.... Whether someone likes it or not.

You tried this thing on a lady.. And now she is your Ex. Cmon man, time to change your tactics.
Works for the while i want, i am not the kind of a guy who sticks around, i have many options and i get what i want, i am not like the PAF who would want an F22 but gets an jeff or the army who would want an Abrams kinda tank but gets VT 4, no restrictions on me.
If you like pressing, there are certain pressure points on a human body, try those. They are there to be pressed. :chilli:
oh i do Sir, i do like to press a few points but don't know about those u mentioned though.
Ooper see, calling someone asshole who is around 2 decades elder to you , is not a good idea anyway.
i didn't know about that i thought Sir you would be like 30-35. The emotions got over me and typed in anger. it wasn't personal!!.

If there was a post on pdf that screamed I don’t get any, this would be it.😁

Video of how the attack started. 7-8 Terrorists can cause this much havoc. One wonders what kind of training is imparted to FC where they can't defend a fortified compound from Approx 10 terrorists.

Very sad incident, and any life lost is a burden on this country.

On to the attack itself, the CCTV footage is just harrowing. This was just too easy. The CCTV does not have audio, and neither do I have any info, but did the sentry engage the terrorists? Or was he shot at first and killed?

Those in the know understand the solution is not due to "not providing weapons and MRAPs". That is just a small tactical part that certainly can help save lives on the move. However, this is a raid against a built up camp of the FC from across the border. In static positions, troops cannot sit inside MRAPs etc. all the time. They have to man positions, OPs etc. and any raiding party can observe, plan and launch attacks.

US/ISAF could not provide air cover 24-7 to their troops thus over 3600 KIA and over 30,000 WIA. Its an impossibility from funding, logistics and operational perspectives.

I understand what you mean, but there are many places/cantts where MRAP's are stationed 24/7 and there are troops within them all the time.

But i agree, our meagre resources do not allow us to have that arrangement everywhere.

The Lt Col on the left of the picture with the SSG badge, is he deputed to the FC?

If so, does FC SOW also use this type of uniform?

If not, then does the new SSG uniform have multiple camos? There is one camo that the personal detail of the COAS wears, more like a digital camo, while this one is similar to FC camo. And then of course there is the older dark green one.

@PanzerKiel ?
