What's new

1500 years old Bible in which 'Jesus predicts coming of Prophet Muhammad' unearthed in Turkey

My dear I also believe in humanity and mutual respect but what i was saying that you can show tolerance and respect to different beliefs without practicing the beliefs of these religion. To give respect is one thing but to accept or do it is another. Most of the times beliefs of one religion contradict with beliefs of other religion for example polytheism vs monotheism. I am not talking about moral values of religion here but their concepts of God and ways of worshiping him and i am not in favor of making your personal mixtures of Religion
Deari m saying if I practice sum of ur belief n u practice sum if mine then wats wrong in it........by this v r promoting true brotherhood n by doing such gesture u wud not becum a non Muslim or non Hindu for me........ once we stuck to hard points then thr is no way to create gud understand ing among different religion which is not gud for todays time.... All religious belief r equally superior n true thats my definition. ....... else we can fight endlessly....... god doesnt say ur belief r superior its we claiming based on limited understaing........ so lets not narrown down our approach instead make it broaden.........

My brother.......If you believe they are authentic and what is written there is also authentic, then you must embrace Islam...that's what those books are saying mentioning about the Last Prophet of God on Earth (Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH).

Deat this is the problem among many Muslim..... wat is ur motive by asking everyone to embrace islam......inceasing muslim nums wud book ur berth in heaven ....? Instead force those hardcore mullahs to becum a non Muslim first........? I bet u cant dare such hard nutshell. .......... how often u have seen any non Muslim asking the same to Muslim to embrace othr religion .....?
Secondly gautam misinterpreted sum of geeta quotes..... thr is no verse in entire geeta or even hindu scriptures whr arrival of prophet is mentioned..............

My brother.......If you believe they are authentic and what is written there is also authentic, then you must embrace Islam...that's what those books are saying mentioning about the Last Prophet of God on Earth (Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH).
Guess what, Gita doesnt mention him as the last prophet!

It mentions him as avatar of lord Vishnu!

But whatever, this is my last reply on this topic. I really dont want to discuss all that.

Because he speaks with logic? and or because he speaks with proves?
Zakir naik contains his own interpretation... Some section says him shetan, some says him toll of West a modern mullah , kafir, some says him true Muslim. Muslim kills each other more than other does. Its ways of interpretation that leads towards religious bigotry, then again bigotry, then hate and cycle continuous....Everybody says that his interpretation is right then it becomes dogmatic in nature... Believe me. If India don't impose hard laws on religious parties , they will become jihadis similar type of Jihadis in China, U.K, Pakistan and other countries. India has very strict rules there that's why they can control those people.... Now, China is also doing very well to control jihadis there...

geeta says mohd is an avatar? what bull.

"Proofs???" Wow... big words are indicators of lack of substance. Not accepting your "proofs" (lousy ones at that, which have been refuted a gazillion times before by scientists) is not equal to "not listening". I have made no effort to hide my source. Because it is some anti-islam (either perceived or real) website doesn't make the argument invalid.
So it is ok to go to a mechanic when someone pushed a blade through you and damaged your internal organs and ask him to stitch you up? Good luck with that! I rather go to the best surgeon!

Your claim hence falls under 'guilt by association" logical fallacy. Without going into religious claims but just only for factual cross checking one will certainly have to look into the other side of the story. That is what I found out.
How exactly did you find out when all you have been doing is copying and pasting websites already refuted and moreover every single thing you posted on this thread has been refuted all you did was just go on asking questions hoping that one of them would go unanswered and you can jump up and say ahan! So which part was your research and not blind copy paste?
All the tall claims of scientific marvel claimed be people of all religious denominations are wishful thinking at best and plain falsehood at worst. No such claim can stand scientific scrcutiny, not one. That is why I said religious books need to be treated as such, not as history books or science books..
We dont treat religious books as science books but books with signs....

كِتَابٌ أَنْزَلْنَاهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَارَكٌ لِيَدَّبَّرُوا آيَاتِهِ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ

"It is a Book We have sent down to you, full of blessing, so let people of intelligence ponder (liyaddabbaru) its Signs and take heed." [Saad, 38:29]

Nowhere does it say we teach you science....

There is a chapter in the Quran which repeatedly states Does man not ponder? Does man not ponder?

Then we have something written specifically for those you quote as well:

وَمِنْهُمْ أُمِّيُّونَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا أَمَانِيَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَظُنُّونَ

"Some of them are illiterate ('Ummiyyun), knowing nothing of the Book but wishful thinking. They only speculate." [Al-Baqara, 2:78]

Ok

I will bite the bullet.
1. Why go to a surgeon? go to a mullah. Will you? No? If you need to fight a case, you go to lawyer. If you want to check what is wrong with an idea, you go to the detractors, not supporters of the idea. Got it?
2. I am not a researcher of theology and religion. I utilize other's research. The same way everybody does with lot of things.
3. Book with signs? WOW!! well you can see all the signs you want in all the things you want to see signs in but whether any of them is correct is a different ball game altogether. Almost all religious texts have "signs". Every one of them bite the dust when subjected to scientific scrutiny.
This perfectly explains why people immediately latch on to phenomenon like seeing jesus in a bread, milk drinking ganesha or as in this case, jesus predicting Mohammad's coming. They just want to see a sign which confirms to their preset believes. Let critical thinking go to hell..

They just want to see a sign which confirms to their preset believes.
extreme belief in Islam or Protestant Christian or Sanghie Hindu - don't argue with them apart from basic level. they are ROM - no scope of erasing their false beliefs and agendas. they cannot see logic. first step to wisdom is "Chorho Eemaan, Bano Insaan"

Ok

I will bite the bullet.

Yea likewise you do not go to a mechanic when you need a surgery....so why are you not going to a scholar? Do you think the ones on answering Islam are some form of lawyers or scholars?
2. I am not a researcher of theology and religion. I utilize other's research. The same way everybody does with lot of things.
You are utilizing not research but misquotes, twisting words and nothing else...no research there even a 10th grader can do the same if he doesnt understand something he can simply twist the words to fit his needs..

Contradicting yourself is a habit? 1st you criticize about signs in Quran then go and say all religious text have it...Meaning you are after all religious text? Well, what science have you seen wrong in the Quran, please put forward...so far you have not put forward science but talked about how it is wrong in the Quran (the same book you have never read)....so far all you were talking about was Hadith...it took us some 20 pages to tell you Hadith is not Allah's words and also not higher than Quran..

This perfectly explains why people immediately latch on to phenomenon like seeing jesus in a bread, milk drinking ganesha or as in this case, jesus predicting Mohammad's coming. They just want to see a sign which confirms to their preset believes. Let critical thinking go to hell..
Well, if they are signs why are you dying to disprove them...If they are not present...disprove them... simple!

Islam is a 1500 years old established religion. The very basis of this religion is to believe in the existence of one (and only) Allah, and that Mohammed (PBUH) as his prophet. It is explicitly mentioned in Quran that Mohammed (PBUH) is his prophet. After this, why should a Muslim ask for any more proof? Bible or other ancient scriptures mention of Mohammed (PBUH) or not, what difference does it make? And if you need this 'proof' to convince non-Muslims to embrace Islam, you are making a HUGE mistake. People will not embrace Islam only because of some ancient references mentioned name of Mohammed (PBUH). Firstly, they don't believe in such scriptures, secondly, even if they do, it is not good enough a reason to change their faith. Put yourself in their shoes and see if you will agree to convert based on this supposedly evidence.

Please stop it, don't ask others to make fun of your belief. You are not doing ANY service to your religion or faith by getting into this.

Burden of proof is with you to prove there are any scientific knowledge in the quaran (which wasn't known at the time). Even then, it can be a great scientific document well ahead of its time and will not by default make assertions about god right. And you are correct, I am after all religious texts which are touted as truth when they are not. Since you have asserted there isn't any scientific fallacy in quaran, can you, just relying on the quaran and no other text (no hadit, no that scholar, no this scholar) tell me where is the center of earth? how did so many species come about? if a person dies leaving behind 3 daughters, 2 parents and 2 wives how much property will be inherited by each? I can go on, but lets hear about this first...

I talked about signs and you are stuck on science...Makes no sense...

Scientific fallacy in the Quran...so ask what is present in the Quran ...From the Quran..

how did so many species come about? if a person dies leaving behind 3 daughters, 2 parents and 2 wives how much property will be inherited by each? I can go on, but lets hear about this first...
Well, if the guy has a will then all is distributed based on the will otherwise based on the Quran:

Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females. But if there are [only] daughters, two or more, for them is two thirds of one's estate. And if there is only one, for her is half. And for one's parents, to each one of them is a sixth of his estate if he left children. But if he had no children and the parents [alone] inherit from him, then for his mother is one third. And if he had brothers [or sisters], for his mother is a sixth, after any bequest he [may have] made or debt. Your parents or your children - you know not which of them are nearest to you in benefit. [These shares are] an obligation [imposed] by Allah . Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise. Quran 4:11

And for you is half of what your wives leave if they have no child. But if they have a child, for you is one fourth of what they leave, after any bequest they [may have] made or debt. And for the wives is one fourth if you leave no child. But if you leave a child, then for them is an eighth of what you leave, after any bequest you [may have] made or debt. And if a man or woman leaves neither ascendants nor descendants but has a brother or a sister, then for each one of them is a sixth. But if they are more than two, they share a third, after any bequest which was made or debt, as long as there is no detriment [caused]. [This is] an ordinance from Allah , and Allah is Knowing and Forbearing. Quran 4:12

They request from you a [legal] ruling. Say, " Allah gives you a ruling concerning one having neither descendants nor ascendants [as heirs]." If a man dies, leaving no child but [only] a sister, she will have half of what he left. And he inherits from her if she [dies and] has no child. But if there are two sisters [or more], they will have two-thirds of what he left. If there are both brothers and sisters, the male will have the share of two females. Allah makes clear to you [His law], lest you go astray. And Allah is Knowing of all things. Quran 4:176

According to these verses of the Qur'an The first right on the property of the deceased is that of the creditors. After the payment to the creditors, any will made by the deceased shall be executed. The remainder of the property and assets of the deceased, if any, shall be distributed among the inheritors in the specified proportions.

  • Inheritors who are to be given a fixed proportion of the total inheritance; and
  • Inheritors who are to share, in a specified proportion, the balance of the inheritance after the share of inheritors of the first category has been given.
Even if I dont know these laws, I will not be deemed any less a Muslim...and if a man gives in his will everything to his daughter and wife then that is how it shall be because "gifts" are not counted as something to be distributed....
