my dear indian we own and stand for our faith and laws.
on the other hand indian hindus who are staunch religious people are still a long way to own your religion based laws.

I can't believe you tagged me to the stupidest post of the year! There are no "Cow Laws" in the US, like there are in India. In the US, if you steal someone's Car, Cow, Cash or Bike, you go to jail. Its called "theft". Stealing anything is illegal.

But in India, there are laws specific to protecting Cows due to their religious status. Sadly, humans are being punished and animals are being protected. I'll stop at the sadness of this situation.

Respect brother. I can only imagine how difficult it must be having conversations with the people close to you and I speak from experience.
I can also imagine the sincerity you must imbibe when you look at a wrong being committed to an individual as religion doesn't put biases in your mind.

Don't speak for the nation at large, I do believe that the hindu fascist forces are more pronounced right now in India under the current govt.
Since our minorities are sizable and have a better representation in the society than Pakistan, I can take an informed guess that we are slightly better placed than Pakistan in terms of minority welfare.
This is just my opinion, there is a long way to go for both our countries to be able to get religion under control
