I have seen many cousin marriages in Turkiye and the consequences(the children),thats why im asking,i dont care what the west thinks.

There is a family in my village .. All their children are abnormal,handicapped and many tend to die... That's a side effect of continuous cousin marriages.


Meanwhile my uncles wifes family has been doing it for generations and their kids are still not ... They are dodging the bullet.. But not for long if they don't stop.

Other... very influencing reason now a days is Environment.. and this branch is Epigenetics..
A child before birth has 30% chances of getting all those diseases..

Depends which part of UK as well I suppose. Are you by any chance a resident in London? When I was in UK (Midlands and North West) for university studies there were a lot of cousin marriages going on especially amongst people from Yorkshire (Bradford, Halifax etc). However Pakistanis from London struck me as more up do date and better educated during my time in the UK, than the kin up north.
