What's new

111 Brigade the time is Nigh!!!

The point My dear is.....When an Absolute Authority (PA) compromises on its fundamental duty for too long than there is no way to blame politician to follow suit as well.

No need to throw blame around

when we all need to unite against our common foe

Islamism! (or Klashankovi Islam).

Thank you

Personally, I'm too against any talks with Taliban aks Kharjits....there should be no arms holding entity in Pakistan except PA.

meanwhile in Pakistan
Taliban continue their killing in karachi and peshawar

In some ways our malalas and our young generations is struggling against deeply entrenched Islamist belief system not too different from the James Earl Chaney, Andrew Goodman, and Michael "Mickey" Schwerner. Those 3 were the martyrs in the cause of freedom and justice against the tyranny of Southern white supremacists.
Those are the ones you know of. Lots of people made decisions and sacrifices, large and small: whites who refused to board buses ahead of Negro riders, TV cameramen enduring the abuse of segregationist policemen to send the story nation-wide, shopkeepers who refused to comply with Klan-led boycotts and were consequently forced out of business, ordinary citizens who attended demonstrations demanding change, even politicians who survived assassination attempts yet kept soldiering on.

The more I read pre-partition Indian and post-partition Pakistani history the more I'm convinced that it isn't enough to "struggle against a deeply entrenched Islamist belief system." That "system" was given a higher stature by the British colonialists, who believed it to be a progressive alternative in that it granted rights to women that tribal law did not. Rather, it's the plague of self-serving moral corruption that is most important, the willingness to sacrifice the good of society to one's personal benefit, that must be attacked simultaneously. And I guess it has to be done boldly and dramatically, lest people who are cowardly, corrupted, and envious dismiss you as a traitor or hypocrite rather than a leader to be followed for promising a new start and a better future for all.

I would rather blame bureaucracy for it. Why?
1. How can weapons and ammunition enter cities without the consent of Police
2. How can slums develop without the consent of relevant authorities, allowing terrorist to hide?
3. How can crime nurture without support and inefficiency(No) connivance of police.
4. How can politicians get out of control without support of secretaries, chief secretaries and judiciary
5. How can military take over without a situation of anarchy created by all of the above.

Again, I think here the turning point is the new Army Chief's behavior post Bannu attack which shapping up new dimensions with relations to TTP at this very moment.

Unlike Kayani, Rheel Sharif thinks that war against TTP in NW is winnable and he will not tolerate TTP terrorist acts against security agencies anymore....unlike Kayani.

This puts a direct pressure on GOP of NS to decides war or peace as early possible, Govt four member committee was just eyewash initially for things to come in accordance with Raheel, but cleverly TTP sniffs that too and agreed unexpectedly for unconditional talks to buy time or sabotage plan assault...!

Nevertheless...they days of their finagaree are numbered only bcz we got the real Army chief who know his true job very well.

111 Brigade....!!! where are you?

the time is near when Democracy will handover the state of Pakistan to the butchers..
do we need to remind you of your oath to the state of Pakistan?

Save Pakistan from TTP and their Spokesmen.
the existence of your institution and state of Pakistan is at stake.

time to roll on the streets is NOW, and dont let the democracy escape to Dubai and London this time. make them all shaheeds of democracy.

see what this Irfan Sadique the despicable person from Nawaz league is saying to the nation.

he states in the end of his "article"

what kind of a Democracy is that? which runs trains in the names of the terrorists, calls them shaheed, bullies the security agencies and tries the former commander in chief of army for treason?
twisted and misplaced loyalties?

how long does the Pakistan army want to wait? until the Constitution avenue is converted into Khooni Chowk of Sawat?
by then it maybe too late

First off if NS and his team even tried to do anything that is not acceptable to the "establishment" that is the taliban's "shariat", then literally army would take over, but right now they are giving chance to peace through talks which would fail at some point and op will take place, even now the people of committee of peace talks have already started talking that gov is preparing of operation..... i think we need to take a bigger picture before jumping to conclusions.

With authority comes responsibility , Nawaz Sharif thinks that talks can succeed with TTP so he is going ahead with that , he belives that the people of Pakistan have given him the mandate to do so. The Army is on board with this , however those who have conducted operations against these people know their nature and they know talks are not going to work , however they Army is willing to follow 'due process' this time.

Come the final failure of talks and continued agression of TTP against the state and outlandish demands , then the PM will have to make the call about full scale military operations , the Army will hold him accountable for this that is certain and once the political authority gives the go ahead to military authority then the jets will play merry hell on the 'innocent civilian inc'

You are very right in using words THINKS and BELIEVES with NS. However, he has yet not been able to comprehend the responsibility on him owing to his authorities and sooner or later going to commit blunders. Army has given a very clear message that if an attack is done on them, they will respond befittingly. As far as attack on civilians is concerned, the person claiming mandate should have courage to order a response, which unfortunately is Winchester with him.

TTP is playing with the government. Their stance was very clear the day government committee was announced. It was our version of Islam whether through negotiations or through war. While announcing negotiation team, NS said that terrorist attack should come to an immediate stop, till today we are having one per day like a doctors prescription.

Very rightly said, TTP does not want negotiations, they are just enjoying response of people by giving different names for their team. They are laughing at the responses, which is exposing the real face of these politicians and mullahs. They have also sent across a clear message that Molvi Abdul Aziz of Lal Masjid was and is their man.

If the people with authority are blind to see what is written on the walls then it is their mistake. Or is the ostrich hiding its head in sand?

With authority comes responsibility -
Except Nawaz has responsibility but not authority over one key Pakistani institution: the military. His power is pretty much limited to appointing it commander. He might encourage it to attack the Talibs but he has very little authority over how the Pakmil chooses to exercise its mission: he'd be held responsible for any war crimes or incompetence while lacking the authority to dismiss the miscreants.

Of course, Nawaz has a poor history of relations with the P.A. Wikileaks showed that he even expressed his belief to the American ambassador that it was the Americans who chose Pakistan's military leader, not Pakistan's civilian leadership, something that made the ambassador's eyes spin. (Obama thus did exactly the right thing by refusing to express an opinion as to who Nawaz should appoint in Kiyani's place.)

Under these circumstances it's only natural that Nawaz would seek every possible means to avoid empowering the Army by giving it a blank check to go to war. If laws were passed giving the civilian leadership slightly greater control over the military - at the very least, the power to remove generals (that does not include appointing new ones in their place) - then Nawaz would probably feel more confident about authorizing military operations.

As it is said that respect is not demanded but commanded. In order to reach the level of hiring and firing the generals, it will take political leadership to rise to the occasion through performance, display of responsibility, acumen to lead and impeccable character. Unfortunately, all of it is missing.

Why Army is the only hope..?
Why can't we wake up and act...?
If we know that political leadership is corrupt, Why do we vote for them and flock to cheer them..?

Now we have democracy, and the power lies with us, the people, so it's time we act.

no one vote for them, but they vote to them self, but no need to get angry at me, let's drop the discussion, if you hate me for other reasons.

If these coward politicians will waste the time in negotiations and will let them keep killing our people , Common man has got no option left than to call army to take over and get rid of these pro ttp and hardcore ttp elements and save the country . SAVE OUR COUNTRY DEMOCRACY CAN BE RESTORED LATER.
Worse would be common man taking up arms themselves. This has already been indicated by some groups during protests against TTP killing. Remember if there is smoke there is fire. If they have mentioned it in the speeches, they will end up doing it; if these butchers are not stopped. Then we can well imagine what will be prevailing in the country "A civil war".

@Irfan Baloch I always had held you in high regards for the quality and unbiasedness of your posts. Now sudenly you are acting like a cheerleader.
