these are religious thugs and in my view these TLP is biggest blasphemy itself for harassing and making a chaos in the name of Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH.

I suspect the hand of our military intelligence services in there as well because this TLP cant just grow out of nowhere and have the resources and manpower to challenge the entire state.

Killing every one who opposes any Govt stance is not good for democracy as brutality is common in radical states like Iran or KSA but not for Pakistan which was created in the name of Allah.
Sir it was IK who made certain promises and then backed down even I cannot understand the personality of Minister of religious affairs.

If IK cannot raise flag of Islam at least he should leave hypocrisy, in last few days Govt has taken certain brutal steps resulting in deaths of Police and protesters both. The whole burden of death is on shoulders of IK and his foreign minister Sheikh Rasheed, real bad management in all areas from economic to religious front. Apart from TLP issue the general public especially from lower to middle class is also cursing Govt. Price fluctuations are at much higher end and no control what so ever is their during Ramzan. The Govt is flop at every level. There is zero tolerance on part of majority in this country and Govt should not test the fate of general public which ever does so is kicked out.
If people like Salman Taseer shall again and again be appointed for high ranks for which they are ineligible as per constitution then we cannot condemn violent acts of past or present.

I believe many a oxford breed would have dropped dead on being "deprived" off of exotic luxury items including french cheese for rolling back cult financial programs. I was thinking the other day that what sanctions could do to a country technology backed by asian allies ------ blessed with every natural resource and fruit and flavour in abundance ? Read a book called "Great Muslim Scientist and Philosopher Jafar as Sadiq" it was a thesis written in French then translated in Farsi and English. It talks about the innovations of Imam Jafar as Sadiq and his father Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Al Hussain. If they did it so can we after all we claim to be the followers of Ahlul-Bayt (AS).

This is how I would handle this problem.

Round up all TLP elements and convey in no uncertain terms that use of threats and violence won't be tolerated. The alternative is use of force by the state.

France is a problematic nation. Their hate for Islam and Muslims is ancient. We need to also deal with French duplicity. France has no issue with drawing offensive cartoons of the holy prophet PBUH, but it cries rivers when our PM criticises and highlights their hate. French hatred of Muslims/Islam cannot go along with normal relations. We cannot pretend or look the other way when France intentionally hurts the feelings of Muslims. We should be vocal and remind France that hating Islam and Muslims will have diplomatic and economic consequences.
