two constitutions, two law systems --> two nations.
not rocket science.
you need to be honest with your own history: india was never a unified nation, there was no nation called india in history. because of this, in a long run, people in india will eventually ask for such independence.
you don't have a unified language
you don't have a unified culture
you don't have a unified religion
you don't have a shared history
that tells a lot.
if you look at the US, there was no US in history, but:
they have unified language
they have unified culture
they have unified religion
they have shared history -- the link with europe
where did you got those 2 constitutions. as far as maoism goes they want to overthrow democracy and want communism for india.
Thats the real beauty of india that there is unity in diversity. Even maoist dont want a separate state but want to change the governance of india.
As far as the unifying factor goes there is a one unifying factor that unifies whole of india with so many cultural and other diffrences and that is
We Are Indians
and that is more than enogh for us.
And let me tell you with the same linguistic groups. have a look at pakistan with so many similarities among people. have alook at the pre world war europe. the similarties are not iota for the stability of a nation. even the same groups cannot live with peace so forget it.
