The per capita GDP that China can raise will be as much as perhaps Japan. It won't be able to grow any further. In the globalized world, both capital and technology are highly porous, hence, there is a fundamental unstable situation with people with vastly different production standards.

Hence, with this logic the person who has the more people will ultimately win.

We are not in that stage at all, and hence I cann't give an answer, because the real answer will depend on the political conditions of then.

What I can say is that India should allow skilled labor, largely to boost productivity.

Similar for China, it should do all to boost productivity. Both skilled and unskilled labor have their own uses. Rather generally immigration of any sort brings good people, because people who immigrate are generally the ones who are willing to take risks and do hard work. Hence, they and their children perform really well.

What do you mean low-end job? I never seen any Chinese that does menial job! I'm not saying there are not any, but I'm a traveled person so that should count for something.
