Not at all majority of muslim women don't wear niqab or burqa these types of images are purposely circulated for propaganda purposes and to promote stereotypes and fear mongering amongst ignorant westerners.

Unfortunately the opposite is true mate.. Rapid spread of Wahhabism and other forms fundamentalist Islam and Arabic culture in almost all Muslim communities across the globe.. Once well integrated peaceful communities self segregating themselves from the wider society and often agitating against the societal strata they have for millennia lived in harmoniously, Like demanding Sharia law etc.. Proliferation of archaic foreign customs like the strict Arabic dress code for women like the 'Burka started since just a decade and half ago is one of the reasons for growing distrust and conflict in places between Muslims and other communities in hitherto peaceful countries before, Well established Muslims communities with their own distinct culture
Maybe living in a Majority Muslim nation one wont see the damage this is doing to the wider society in non Muslim majority countries, But unfortunately it is increasing and not for the better
