Even the Somali pirates could produce a UAV that could work in highly uncontested air space. The question is, how would a UAV function in a high intensity, modern conflict like in Ukraine. As we've seen, Turkish UAVs were shown to be junks and the Ukrainians are refusing to even use them.

I wish Erdogan had sold the Saudis and Emiratis enough TB2s - a single weapon that could hand the Houthis their asses regardless of what weapons Iran ships to them. In fact, Iran could be allowed to ship weapons freely to the Houthis.
