10 Reasons Why The Indian Navy MARCOS Are The Deadliest In The World
0
BY KANISHK BHATIA ON SEP 10, 2015ARTICLES, EXCLUSIVE, FEATURED
Indian Navy’s Marine Commandos(MARCOS) is the special operations unit of the Indian Navy. created for conducting special operations from Amphibious warfare, Counter-terrorism to hostage rescue & Personnel recovery. They are specially trained and equipped for conducting special operations in marine environment & other terrains.

Here’s what makes them one of the world’s Deadliest elite force:

  1. Becoming a MARCO is not a child’s play. The selection standards are extremely high Trainees have to go through a vigorous training process that lasts two and half to three years. Getting selected to be trained as a MARCO itself is very difficult.

2) The pre-training procedure consists of a three-day physical fitness and aptitude test, and then comes the Hell Week where physical endurance, mental toughness, pain and cold tolerance, teamwork, attitude, and your ability to perform work under high physical and mental stress, and sleep deprivation are tested. On average, only 20% of candidates make it through Hell Week.

3. Those that make it through, or don’t quit on their own, actually proceed to the actual training. Majority of the training is conducted at INS Abhimanyu which is also the home base of MARCOS.

4) The further training includes Open and closed circuit diving, advanced weapon skills, demolitions, endurance training, martial arts, Para training, Intelligence training & Various special skills such as language training, insertion methods, etc.

5) After this basic training, they are divided into groups for advance training. This includes training for counter insurgency, anti-hijacking, anti-piracy, clandestine operations, surveillance and reconnaissance, amphibious operations, unconventional warfare, and hostage rescue etc

6 ) All MARCOS personnel are freefall qualified (HALO/HAHO)-High Altitude Low Opening and High Altitude High Opening. In fact, They are capable of being para dropped into the sea with the full combat load & that’s what makes them special.

7) They train for High altitude mountain warfare in Tawang Arunachal Pradesh,Desert warfare in Rajasthan,Counter-insurgency and Jungle Warfare in Mizoram and at various other locations.

8 ) An Indian MARCO on an exchange program in the US topped the US Navy SEAL course with ease

9) The MARCOS are equipped with some of the best weapons in the world including Israeli TAR-21(or simply Tavor) assault rifle assault rifle with a selective fire system, Ranging between semi-automatic mode to full automatic fire mode

10) MARCOS are widely feared among the terrorists, who call them “Dadiwala fauj”, meaning the “Bearded army” because of their bearded disguise in civil areas

in 1971 we did that " Gush ke marenge"
Actually it was pakistan that has attacked furthest most be it kargil (we captured your land for months) in 65 we attacked indian bases furthest and in 1971 our sub went furthest most in enemy territory to lay mines by IN AC (though sadly lost to its own mine)...

Dnt bring ur SSG crap hear.. Big troll
and take your macaroni cheese commando cr`p to bahratraksaw....

.
Lol India was bullied by a smaller nation and still captured more land, destroyed more tanks, fighter jets, and attacked air bases the most...
but look at the result

1.pakistan became a security state than a welfare state which in time made pakistan what it is today

2.India still has kashmir

3.USA the biggest ally of pakistan has turned up against pakistan and now is exploiting pakistani weaknesses and pakistanies have no choice but to obay US dictats

4.1965 was the main reason as to when bengalies started getting uneasy as they were left unattended during that time its another matter that india dint attack them and soon they changed there owtlook towards india and bangladesh was born

now the thread is about indian navies MARCOS well there is a reason why terrorists in J&k call them "magarmach" :D

and it took India 2 months with air support to capture it back WOW great achievement by India.

Ofcourse it does. You wouldn't write such a sentence if you know little knowledge about Combat Situation ad tactics and Strategy.. Do you know how hard it is to capture a peak from well defended enemy??? you need to have the ratio of 7-10:1 If it was the Indians on the top of the mountains Pakistan wouldn't even capture a single peak.. a great example is Siachen... We took back Kargil peaks in 2 months but Pakistani Military couldn't get Siachen from Indian hands for years. what does that tell you

but look at the result

1.pakistan became a security state than a welfare state which in time made pakistan what it is today
Then it should still be a big shame for India that they keep getting bullied by nation where people eat grass..
2.India still has kashmir
1. kashmiris dont like India
2. Kashmir wants to be with pakistan
3. Kashmiris are banned from celebrating Pakistani independence day.
3.USA the biggest ally of pakistan has turned up against pakistan and now is exploiting pakistani weaknesses and pakistanies have no choice but to obay US dictats
After 65 USA supplied Pakistan with more fighter jets, frigates, radars, tanks, training etc....
4.1965 was the main reason as to when bengalies started getting uneasy as they were left unattended during that time its another matter that india dint attack them and soon they changed there owtlook towards india and bangladesh was born
Still India lost more troops, more land, more fighter jets, more POW and India was humiliated by Pakistan despite being 5 times smaller.
