We will see when that happens. However you guys should stop posting 2 years old news.

It is still very much relevant since the common man of Kashmir is against militancy.

Is your army sleeping then? Or may be too afraid to protect its own?

It was a sneaky and shameful act.

Our troops will get back yours, but with class. PA is professional force, and will target your army, not your civilians.

RAWALAKOT: Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) personnel were firing across the Line of Control (LoC) in Rawalakot’s Battal sector in the early hours of Monday morning.

Moreover, a mortar shell fired by the Indian army exploded on a house in Donga Gambhir due to which a young man was killed whereas his sister was severely injured.

Following the incident, Pakistani Rangers responded with retaliatory firing. The exchange of fire has been ongoing in the area since 1:10 am.

Earlier on Sunday, Pakistan accused Indian forces of violating the ceasefire agreement between the countries on two counts. However, no casualties were reported in either incident.

Indian troops opened fire at a Rangers checkpost situated in Nakiyal sector on Sunday afternoon, Pakistani military sources claimed.

Pakistani military sources had earlier accused India of opening unprovoked fire on a Pakistani Rangers’ check post in the Sialkot sector on Sunday morning.

“Indian Border Security Forces resorted to unprovoked firing on Pakistani Rangers posts near Pukhlian, Head Marala area, in Sialkot sector,” an unnamed senior military official, told AFP.

Pakistan Rangers also resorted to retaliatory firing.

The exchange of fire continued for a few hours, but no loss of life was reported.

Following the attack, Rangers called for investigations to be launched into the incident.

Moreover the Indian news website, The Time of India reported on Sunday, that an Indian BSF soldier was injured in a sniper attack from the Pakistani side at Machial, northwest of Srinagar, in Indian-occupied Kashmir.

Earlier on August 6, India accused Pakistani troops of involvement in an attack on an army post in the disputed Kashmir region in which five of its soldiers were killed.

The five were killed late Monday night at an outpost some 200 kilometres south of Srinagar, Indian officials said.

The Pakistan army however denied responsibility.

The Foreign Office rejected allegations of Pakistan’s involvement as “baseless and unfounded”, saying the country was committed to its ceasefire promises and wanted to resume peace talks with India soon.

Meanwhile, the Directors General Military Operations (DGMOs) of Pakistan and India on August 7 spoke over the hotline on the situation on the LoC, a UN-monitored de facto border dividing Kashmir between India and Pakistan.

Pakistan's DGMO Major General Ashfaq Nadeem strongly denied that Pakistani troops were involved in the killing of five Indian soldiers, adding that the accusations levelled against the country's soldiers were without foundation and utterly baseless, sources said.

Major General Nadeem moreover told his Indian counterpart that Pakistan wholeheartedly respected the ceasefire agreement with India.

On August 8, Pakistani military officials said Indian troops opened fire and seriously wounded a male civilian along the LoC.

Really shameful.

Firing mortars? A mortar can surely not be fired by mistake...you have got be deliberate as ever. Now where is Arnab Goswami? A mortar is a 4 kilo shell...pathetic.

First Indians fire at SIalkot, then at Poonch, and now again at the same area. 3 incidents in little under 24 hours.

What do you expect us to do then? Fire rasgullas from our arti-guns?
Its sad an innocent civilian lost his dear life... but the fault lies with your army to provoke the IA.

Dude... our army does not target civilians either. Unfortunate loss of life in this incident is case is sad and should be avoided.

Regarding getting back and all, we have seen how our forces have fared in military conflicts earlier. I'll be more than happy if they keep up that performance. Your forces on the other hand have a lot of getting back to do.

Denial is not the answer, today it's Kashmir (legally Indian citizens like you) tomorrow it could be Bangalore. If your army has this attitude it will haunt you later.

is there heavy civilian presence near around the border ?? Any 1 to shed some light

To the kashmiris it's not a border, it's the middle of their land.

really unfortunate if true , but Pakistani army have habit of hiding behind civilians .:hitwall:

How do you 'keep' villages somewhere? Because **** logic, that's why.

Soldiers kill soldiers... and in return, soldiers kill civilians?

Isn't that a bit stupid?

Don't worry, soon there will be reports of a Pakistani ID card, auto-biography and home address, US green card, explosives, guns, weapons of mass destruction, death star being found in his pockets.

Let's assume we are provoking, so how does killing a boy and injuring his sister become the response?

I'm not denying that a civilian died. I'm only saying that Indian army as a principle/policy will not target civilians.
Collateral damage is a possible cause here and I don't like that happening either. But blindly saying that civilians are being targetted is not believable either.

Bravo the Great Indian Army ... they stay true to their motto i.e. " When you cant fight the professionals , Kill the civilians "

Professionals dont arm civilians and send them accross.
Its sad some one got killed. RIP
