Imran has literally taken PPP by SURPRISE - and no one noticed.

Not at all angry. It happens. If one large city leaves a vacuum of growth, then another large city will pick it up. I'll be very honest, as much as I despise the corruption of PML-N, under their CMship they started several mega projects in Lahore. Karachi should replicate them. Karachi needs...

Imran has literally taken PPP by SURPRISE - and no one noticed.

You're putting words in my mouth. I didn't say that... Do you really think he brought the change that we envisioned? I don't. I'm also saying all other parties are corrupt to the core and that he is our ONLY chance. Yet his performance has been questionable. Time to wake up.

That works as well. We have counties here in the UK. Large cities, such as London and Manchester are not part of counties and they have their own governess. Call a county a province or a province a county. We just need to delegate power from large sections to smaller sections. This way large...

Imran has literally taken PPP by SURPRISE - and no one noticed.

That is the problem. I'm from Lahore and I face the same issues regarding the next election... Imran has failed to deliver his promises, the economy is in shambles and we have no one to vote for. The other party leaders are corrupt to the core and lets face it PTI ministers are ex ministers from...

Imran has literally taken PPP by SURPRISE - and no one noticed.

What Pakistan needs is a change from Parliamentary system to Presidential. Pakistan also needs to create several provinces.

Imran has literally taken PPP by SURPRISE - and no one noticed.

That is the same problem with every province. You can't win Punjab by just winning Lahore. The people of interior Sindh need waking up and they need to be shown that there is hope, provided you are willing to change your voting habits. I have a lot of friends from Karachi, from my school days in...

Imran has literally taken PPP by SURPRISE - and no one noticed.

Personally I would love to see PTI move in however in all honesty I don't think there is any way they can. The only way that comes into my mind is through a constitutional amendment, for that they need a two third majority government, which PTI does not have. The people of Karachi and Sindh...

Imran has literally taken PPP by SURPRISE - and no one noticed.

The army is in Karachi as an aid or clean up operation after it rained. The army is not in Karachi to take control of bureaucracy. 18 amendment still stands; development still remains under the jurisdiction of Sindh Government.

Answer: Why Pakistan Navy has her Submarines in Karachi and not in Lahore.

You make a good point. BRB will be a natural stop point for an invading ground force due to the terrain. Same happened in 1965, the Indians found it hard to penetrate beyond the BRB canal. These mini-subs would be useless there because there will be little to none sea assets of any country...

Answer: Why Pakistan Navy has her Submarines in Karachi and not in Lahore.

Thank you for your service to Pakistan Jaibi. The nation is proud of her protectors. Your response is perfect. It sums up what most people on the thread were trying to say. He has issues with Lahore and he tried to drag the navy into the sphere.

Karachi beat all the other cities of Pakistan in Tax Collection

I don't have a problem with comparing performance. Stats are needed for improvement of sectors and stats are comparisons. The OP asked why does Karachi collect the most tax and for what. I answered the reasons for why Karachi collects the most tax. 1. Population. 2. Port City. Where I have a...

Karachi beat all the other cities of Pakistan in Tax Collection

Argument is illogical. 50% of population can be close to Lahore but is not in Lahore. Being close to Lahore doesn't mean Lahore district collects the tax revenue for that area. It's common sense that areas with higher population will collect more tax than areas with less population in most...

Karachi beat all the other cities of Pakistan in Tax Collection

I'm not jealous. I'm happy if Karachi prospers. I just have a issue with Karachi vs Pakistan... Just like all of my other replies I have stated time and time again that it is Karachi for Pakistan and not Karachi vs Pakistan. Filers and tax collection go hand in hand. I two logical reasons to...

I again raise a question in more polite manner

You're correct however we are not living in 1971 anymore, the needs of today have changed. There may have not been any problem with the college remaining in Karachi however the navy may have taken the decisions based on a lot of naval strategic locations being way too close to each other.

Karachi beat all the other cities of Pakistan in Tax Collection

@BHarwana @waz please close this thread. This OP has issues today as seen by other threads created. I answered your question on why Karachi collects more tax, if you don't have enough brain cells to comprehend the answer then seek education. Karachi collected tax to spend on its people and the...

I again raise a question in more polite manner

Of course we can, but rationally. Wanting Naval college to remain in Karachi just for the sake of the college being in Karachi is a stupid argument. Arguments such as these create unnecessary divide. And Karachi is a part of Sindh. 99 seats in the Sindh assembly belong to PPP, the largest by...

Again, you as the people of Karachi voted for them. If you want change, stop voting for the same people every time.

I again raise a question in more polite manner

Don't worry. The Navy knows what it is doing. Ordinary civilians like you and me are not in a position to dictate military matters when we have next to no knowledge of them.
