Trying. But not successful.
HESA is going to produce 70-100 passenger airplane with help of Antonov I think. But there are many problems in this case including HESA's budget limit. Most of the budget is going to Missile development and a little is reserved for such research.

Of course it is Chinese C802. But the launchers Iran could produce before could just hold a single missile and launchers like these were imported from china. But they are produced locally now alongside with missiles.
The Iranian Defense Ministry has delivered new naval cruise missile systems to the Navy in yet another move to boost the nation's defense capability.

As always I should say that Iran hasn't announced that the Upgraded S200 is the missile they were speaking of. It is just an upgrade to the old S200 systems.
See the article (again in farsi):
Fars News Agency : ÊÓÊ ãæÝÞíÊ ÂãíÒ ÓÇãÇäå ãæÔßí S200
Very interesting. There isn't any news about it in any Iranian news agency. It is just in ruyters. Very interesting. Maybe Iran has tested the S300 without even knowing it.
It is a Yahoo news. Iran has denied this. Unfortunately the article is in Farsi.
