    Japan plans to replace 100 F-15Js with 100 F-35As

I haven't heard much regarding the progress of the WS-15 so I can't comment there. With regards to being ahead of the US, we'll have to agree to disagree. The US is decades ahead of China in many fields and IMO, we shouldn't be overconfident in that regard.

China to hold a massive military parade to 'frighten Japan', says report

You're totally right. You should base your analysis of China's capabilities on what random Chinese newspapers have to say - many of which are tabloids based in Hong Kong or Taiwan. Good job! :omghaha:

    Japan plans to replace 100 F-15Js with 100 F-35As

I actually hope Vietnam takes those old F-15s for free. Vietnam's economy is in no shape to provide the logistical support for a bunch of 35 year old aircraft, let alone 200 of them but it would be hilarious to see them try. As for Russia, they're ahead of China in engines and many other...

    Japan plans to replace 100 F-15Js with 100 F-35As

Is Vietnam going to pay for that or are you asking Japan to give you those for free? Agreed. But the gap is closing fast. Take a look at the state of the Chinese military even 15 years ago. People were talking about any attempts to reclaim Taiwan as the "million man swim" and the...

China to hold a massive military parade to 'frighten Japan', says report

All done under lies and false pretenses no less. Where the neo-con instigators are sitting pretty, supported and defended by a cast of brainwashed sheeple, whilst the corpses of their American soldiers (a greater number than those that died on 9/11) moulder in the ground. If China were to...

The Great Game Changer: Belt and Road Intiative (BRI; OBOR)

Meh. It seems the Russians are making a lot of proclamations these days in a bid to seem less isolated than it is. A "joint orbital station" seems like a colossal waste of money that benefits China very little. Especially since China already has its own space station plans like @Genesis has...

China knows what is best for it.

I agree. PPP is a useless measure and only bandied about by people with a chip on their shoulder. In fact, China tried to suppress reports about its economy being larger than that of the US in PPP terms because it's completely meaningless - the same measure that Indians love to brag about when...

China to get S-400 from russia in 2017

That article is almost 10 years old, replete with factually incorrect or out of date information.

China red-flags India’s entry into NSG, may push for Pakistan

That makes zero sense. North Korea is a pain in the butt for everyone, especially China. Why would China advocate for North Korea joining the NSG when North Korea itself never wanted to do so? If anything, India, a superpower by 2012 and where Mumbai is better than Shanghai according to its past...

China to get S-400 from russia in 2017

All you need to know right there. Anyways, there's already a thread on this. Russia selling S-400s is most likely untrue and the rest is just fluff and speculation. Like the "Su-35 sales to China" rumors that have been floating around for 6 years.

Pakistan is our irreplaceable all weather friend: China

The only country getting embarrassed here is India. And the only ones getting butthurt are Indians, who inexplicably feel the need to weigh in on a discussion about China and Pakistan. :pop: Chinese 'obsession' with the toilet? If only Indians would be more 'obsessed' with indoor plumbing...

Russia's credit rating is cut to junk by S&P

Thank you for your post though I'm afraid your attempt at educating him will have gone in one ear and out the other. Also, I'd be really surprised if he had a job since he believes that "money isn't real."

2014.6 ISIS hijack a Chinese engineer in Iraq, China kidnap terrorist's family to exchange hostage

How do we know the 500K was paid to the terrorists and not to the guys kidnapping terrorist families on China's behalf? This would make more sense no? Since by holding the kidnappers families, China would already have leverage in the subsequent hostage negotiations.

Imagery shows heliport on China's Nanji Islands ( East China Sea )

LOL, 1.2 billion pounds for a LHD that barely displaces as much as China's 071 LPDs. Meanwhile China has 40,000 ton LHDs in the pipeline. Not to mention cruisers and you know...actual aircraft carriers that will displace 80,000 tons or more. No, I don't think China is too concerned. But...

Type 055 DDG News & Discussions

In that last picture, I don't see the actual 055's helipad being smaller than the one on the 052D. If anything, the 055 will be a bit larger than what's currently being portrayed.

Should U.S. Allies in Asia Get Their Own Nukes?

What a brilliant article. And what's to stop China from giving nukes to Venezuela, Argentina, Syria, and Iraq and giving MIRVed ICBMs to Iran and North Korea? You're either against proliferation or you aren't. "Encouraging" allies to acquire nuclear weapons is the same as nuclear proliferation...

    Solution to Sino-India logjam

Who's "we" and why should I care what you think? None of my posts are for you. If you don't like what I write, feel free to move on. :pop: How on earth is Tibet going to come under India's influence again? I mean, that's what you're implying right? Also, China is hardly trying to woo...
