Sikh, Pathan and Gurkha soldiers in the eyes of Winston S. Churchill

I think British also took into account the tribal or clan organization of any tribe for "martial race" designation in addition to "loyalty". I have noticed that most of the tribes designated as "martial" by the british were those who had good tribal organization and a concept of chieftain at...

Gangsta Goat terrorizing people on the street

I think sheep have individual characters, some are naturally very aggressive. In 80s and 90s people used to buy sheep or goats for qurbani purpose usually few months before eid ul adha and I remember some of the sheep/goats were indeed like this sheep and one had to be careful while around them...

Sikh, Pathan and Gurkha soldiers in the eyes of Winston S. Churchill

Not true, The sikh soldiers were all from eastern punjabi jatt families whereas muslim soldiers were predominantly from Rajput pothoharis. There is no similarity between punjabi Majha/Doaba/Malwa Sikh jatts and Pothohari muslim Rajputs in terms of culture.

Sikh, Pathan and Gurkha soldiers in the eyes of Winston S. Churchill

In my childhood we had an Afridi family from FATA living in my neighborhood in Gujranwala, one of the Afridi guy from this family was the fastest bowler in our neighborhood with special tricky slow delivery in his overs that used to knock the batsmen out, I remember his name was Billa as he had...

Sikh, Pathan and Gurkha soldiers in the eyes of Winston S. Churchill

Nevertheless it seems that it was mostly Afridi pathans who got the maximum "media coverage" from the british compared to any other pathan tribe, there has to be some reason behind it.

Gangsta Goat terrorizing people on the street

I find it hillarious that a sheep/goat is behaving like a gangsta and freaking the people out on the street. Never underestimate the power of a sheep/goat :D

Sikh, Pathan and Gurkha soldiers in the eyes of Winston S. Churchill

This BS is invented by these races themselves , no one says any such thing about afkoonis in punjab. It is the same BS like the one that Lahoris spread that the one who has not seen lahore is not born, this BS is also unheard of outside Lahore just 100 km away . These kind of BS are...

Sikh, Pathan and Gurkha soldiers in the eyes of Winston S. Churchill

There is only mentions of "Afridis" who were supposed to have been dardic language speakers before they adopted pashto language of Abdalis. I don't see any mention of Lohani baniya pashtuns anywhere . I think these nomenclatures of Pathan and Sikh are misleading here. One must be specific...

Kick gets all time biggest opening in Pakistan

Rawalpindi/islamabad also has huge urdu speaking populations. Show me any city where urdu speaking don't live in appreciable numbers where anyone is interested to waste their money to watch indian movies in cinemas. We in punjab will always prefer to spend money to watch a punjabi stage drama...

Kick gets all time biggest opening in Pakistan

This is clearly due to urdu speaking people living in these cities who have special love for india and love indian culture as their ancestors moved from india to pakistan in 1947, they love to watch anything indian. It is not the case with the rest of pakistan who take more pride in their own...

Name famous pakistani personalities belonging to your city/district

That battle took place near "jehlum river" not in modern "jehlum district". The course of Jehlum river is quite long and it passes through many districts of punjab. I think the point of encounter between alexander and Porus near Jehlum river bank was in the area of "Bhera" which is a tehsil of...

    Pakistani Film " MOOR"

All of the hollywood movies screened in pakistani cinemas are action or adventure oriented, people aren't really bothered about the language as they are more interested in watching the scenes rather than being interested in what actors talk to each other in those movies.

This is how wild animals are hunted by african tribes!

I will consume meat of an animal killed even this way too as long as it is halal. My purpose of sharing this video was that there are still some tribes that go to this extent to kill animals in kind of brutal way but I respect these tribes because they are close to nature and are as much part of...

This is how wild animals are hunted by african tribes!

This is brutal but I think these african tribes are still following primitive life style which is closer to nature so they are part of nature and they don't have any emotions for animals like modern populations of the world. Watch it

    The Jats of Sindh

My sindhi speaking pashtun friend from Sibbi Balochistan told me that in sindh and Baluchistan pure jatts are animal herders and traders of cattle and camels etc. This reminds me of pakistani singer Reshma who said once in her interview that her ancestors used to be nomads trading cattle and...
