MiG-25RB "Foxbat-B" was capable of delivering Nukes.. Till date this aircraft is considered as the fastest Fighter Plane. Its Alt record is also untouched.. We should look upon the MKIs as a Nuke Delivery Platform..

I still miss those Mig-25s in IAF, Russian shud hv continued them with more upgrades. Those were real strategic fighter planes. Speed, Hieght and delivery.. There r too many records set by the aircraft.. Unmathed till date..

I agree with u partially.. Vikramaditya was looked upon just as a repalcement of aging Viraat. Back in 2000s India had no other option. Thats why India went ahead with IAC project. The IAC 1 will be comissioned hopefully at the same time Vikramaditya gets in. But, Vikramaditya suits indian...

BTW India is very much worried about the Chinese ACs, as they hv no experience in operating them.. They may suffer huge losses, if aircrafts plunge into the sea during takeoffs n landing, collisions with the accompanying war ships etc.. Hope the Chinese will be able to operate them nicely..;)

IMO Going for EF may not prove to be a good move by IAF and MoD.. Spare-parts issues may arise (RAF is facing problems) as we are facing it with Soviet Machines.. It is not suitable to knock the door of 4 countries to get the spare parts..

Super Carriers are not meant to secure sea routes.. If China is really concerned abt it, she should try to maintain a coordial relationship with other countries including the US. As for Middle-east trade route, if the relations are good enough, Indian Navy alone can provide that security to...

I think Rafale has a open system architecture.. Indegenous weapons like ASTRA and other weapons like Russian R series missiles and ground attack ammunitions can be easily integated into it.. So the cost can be taken care of in the long run..
