Well PLAAF / PLAAN need for GaN is in hundreds if not thousand plus, so RoI is there for manufacturer. It will be costly for PAF, they will just have to weigh in cost / benefits and go with the best possible deal on KLJ-7A.

I don't think its for MPA, as I don't think that the PN would be willing to dole out $ for initial setup of a newer platform, unlike ATR series which other operators had already acquired and converted to MPA thus reducing the risk.

Only with US origin ones, if available to PAF. Code is not available to modify / update to add in house solutions. It would be futile to compare JF-17 solutions and or 50+ year old M3/5 with F-16 options.

Do not wish to de-rail, choice likely be F-16V or F-16 Block 72s or the Combo, this add on will be more then a match.
