MINUSMA is a UN mission in Mali with the following countries providing troops, equipment or some form of support for the same with Pak being one of the contributor. It is quite common for contributing countries to provide not just troops but armament, weaponary and other logistic/transport infra for UN missionsBut why...
But why...
To support Ops which include PA troops also. A lot of BTRs are used by PA in UN Ops too.But why...

No we don't have any sizeable fleet of wheeled APC. We have acquired some Puma 6X6 from Italian surplus stock but I have yet to see them operational in Pakistan.off topic but can you please guide me to our wheeled armored vedicle inventory? Do we have any wheeled one?
Ethiopia tops the list in the number of UN peacekeepers with India in the second place and Pak following closely at third place until 2016-2017Because we are the largest contributor to UN peace keeping missions?
So why not?
Because UN is mostly a defensive force to protect local populace rather than rooting out terrorist orgs and go on a full offensive. Usually, such missions are taken up by NATO coalition or certain countries to protect their interests like Russia in SyriaUN is wasting resources, why not UN intervene in syria? Or in yemen?
