I would disregard your last paragraph since I'm least interested in your experiences with uncles.
As for my sweeping statement. Kaiser Tufail said it. It is more than enough.
You can fix your own interpretation here and there to save yourself but it doesnt change the fact, that F-16s close...
Read up on X-36. A dedicated low observable aircraft from Boeing that was designed with canards.
The general rule of thumb is, RCS is directly proportional to surface area and canards increase it and so does rudder, wings, ailerons. However, canards designed for stealth will do their job.
Thanks for sharing this.
He spoke my mind about what I wrote earlier.
The guy you just quoted finds it fashionable to challenge every tom dick and harry on this forum. Probably portrays himself as someone who knows stuff when clearly he doesnt understand the subject and its complexity.
Probably the most incompetent/ill-advised/corrupt Air Chief IAF ever had.
a. Canards of a certain shape, size, angle, metal, and coating retain the stealth characteristics. Hence it is moronic to suggest that fighters with canards are less stealthy as compared to those without it. Rafale has...
Operational within a week? What a plethora of crap. Is it a Maruti 800 purchase that is 'just buy and drive'?
Before anyone vomits all over this thread, take the word of IAF's own Air Marshal on the subject...
PAF F-16s do not have GCAS. It was introduced in later variants of F-16s that too on an experimental basis. it comes standard with F-16V's.
As for SOP's, Solo F-16 aerobatics have been dropped from future 23rd march shows.
Initial findings were presented to air staff some time ago. I'm not aware of the details. But the hearsay does outline a pilot error that was caused due to improper maneuver followed by altitude misjudgment It was a chain reaction. It always is.
You have a knack of refuting me on almost everything. I dont blame you. You perhaps need that kind of attention.
Throwing jets on IAF or Islamabad crash have nothing to do with maximizing risk in this context. F-16 has been doing solo aerobatics for years and it's a no brainer that PAF will...
I may be.
Pakistan does not need apples AND oranges. We need different kinds of apples to compliment the apples we already have. If fruits help you understand. I'd be glad.
Soon.
There is absolutely no talk of J-15. Neither do we need it. Whatever J-15 does or can carry can be beautifully executed by JF-17. Masroor is slated to be an all JF-17 base just like Minhas, Peshawar and Samungli (soon)
The basic idea of JF-17 is to diminish dependence on western countries for critical systems. The engine is one of them. It will be risky and expensive.
It requires redesign and it is just not worth the buck. Super cruise is something which may save us fuel in the long run. But TVC is for...
Your idioticity is beyond words. The post you just quoted is mere hearsay and that too it's coming from you. Try backing it up with sources/logic. You'll fail and fall flat on your face.
The meteor is only as good as the platform carrying it due to the dependence on an external source for...
Thanks for the tag.
Before I continue please understand this, The reason for my condescending tone in this post will be solely due to that one reference of yours, where you are reducing mankind's endeavors and accomplishments to a mere missile that has neither been tested nor tried in combat...
Nothing fancy is going on.
All 8 Bravo's have been distributed among 4 squadrons for testing.
I don't have an answer to this because net-centric capabilities are usually kept secret. All we know is that Saab 2000, Falcon DA20, and some other assets further PAF's network-centric needs.
Our...
