A Take On Communal Violence In India

Burqas are on a decline in Delhi, even in the old city areas. Though they are very common in poor families, especially migrants from UP and Bihar. (not surprisingly, I have met a lot of poor Hindus from these areas, and they are extremely backward too. But they tend to get a pass, because they...

A Take On Communal Violence In India

But have large numbers of Muslims nevertheless. I live in South Delhi, and all communities get along quite well here. Most areas with problems are actually poor areas. Poor people get stereotyped easily.

This is true throughout the world.it is the liberals who go out and build bridges. In India, actual liberals are very few. Most people follow their...

BOIS LOCKER ROOM SCANDAL WHO TO BLAME?

Liberal values are quite recent, even in the developed West. Not everyone has gotten used to it, even though the laws have an obvious liberal tilt. Border tense as infiltration, push-in escalate.

India to push for Pakistan blacklisting at FATF due to Kashmir's indigenous freedom struggle

I would answer with the assumption that you're not a fake ID troll. The plan is to assimilate the locals, over time. Not to kill them. We just destroy the resistance. Seizing hostile territory requires some sacrifice. No country is going to cede land that's strategically important.

5,450 tonnes of free rice to 2,985 mosques, 47 temples have to pay rupees 10 crores: TN govt. order

Wilful distortion of facts from the original poster. Temples, mosques and churches in India are major seats of financial corruption, and they hold vast amounts of wealth. Ideally, they should all be taxed. Churches are very rich in India, and they would yield a big return if taxed by the...

India has world’s third biggest defence spending now

This money funds a lot of jobs in India itself, so it is not that much of a burden. It further buys a lot of foreign influence, which is vital for a low income developing country like ours. Indigenous production, like China would be the ultimate goal.

Arab pressure working against Hindu radicals?

You go too far into the future, and you won't have 'practicing' religious people anymore. Anyhow, most predictions predict the percentage of Muslims to stabilize at around 30 percent in India.
