    History of Freemasonry in Pakistan

Atheists(much more in number) also want to destroy religion ( due to violence, social conservatism, oppression of women, etc). This is not something unique to Freemasons. In fact, many world leaders openly use religion as a tool to control the masses.

Hindu teacher sentenced to life imprisonment for ‘blasphemy’ in Ghotki

There are always religious people in secular countries who can face the payback. Don't cry the next time we persecute you in a different location when you're 'just following your faith.'

Sukmawati Sukarnoputri, daughter of former Indonesia president, converts to Hinduism from Islam

It is not beyond the scope of science at all. Current scientific understanding of origin of energy/matter is limited. We don't have the tools/theories to look into it. Doesn't mean scientists don't care about finding out. What I said is something more basic, and broader than the law of...

Sukmawati Sukarnoputri, daughter of former Indonesia president, converts to Hinduism from Islam

The law of conservation of energy was modified when scientists realised mass was another form of energy. It can be modified in the future too, depending on the proof. It is not beyond the scope of science. Current science is inadequate to explain it completely. But as I mentioned earlier...

Sukmawati Sukarnoputri, daughter of former Indonesia president, converts to Hinduism from Islam

Neither offer any solid proof as of now. You see a creator in it. I see randomness. I see how Insignificant life really is, compared to the size of the universe. Humanity is barely a hundred years into advanced sciences. Such existential questions would need time and extensive research.

Sukmawati Sukarnoputri, daughter of former Indonesia president, converts to Hinduism from Islam

I don't think see. Ancient people see the sun. "There must be a sun god." Oceans are powerful and dangerous. "There must be a water god." Lightning strikes. "There must be a thunder/lightning/sky God." No idea how things come into being. "There must be a creator God." Lol

Sukmawati Sukarnoputri, daughter of former Indonesia president, converts to Hinduism from Islam

Some faiths have more of a metaphysical bent than a pure literal one. So in broad sense, Hinduism is a collection of common religious and social practices, plus ideas regarding the universe/nature. Most major religions try to explain the world according to their perspective. You find one of...

Why do Indian restaurants serve Muslim food?

Food is incredibly cheap here. The best Biryani can be had for the equivalent of $7-8. Reviews on Google can be a good guide.

Why do Indian restaurants serve Muslim food?

In India, we routinely make fun of vegetarians. Most restaurants tend to have non vegetarian options. Beef is uncommon here, but I have found many restaurants that sell beef in Yogi's Uttar Pradesh. Common people typically eat Biryani, chicken tikka, chicken kadhai, mutton curry, chicken curry...

Making the case for a global ban on privately-owned personal transport cars and two-wheelers

Cars have utility in a country like India where the temperatures run into the extremes. Then there is the social aspect (for me, it is important in my dating life.) They provide last mile connectivity, which also helps with security. Public transport is alright when all you need is to move from...

‘Do we not have any rights?’ Indian Muslims’ fear after Assam evictions

Ancient Egyptians thought so. So did the ancient Greeks. So did the European Christians. The world is different now. The secularisation is bound to happen with time. If we speed up the process, there will be less violence.

    Motorcycle industry enters 500CC era

It is simple, what royal Enfield provides. Relaxed cruising motorcycles with high torque. They aren't meant to rev high and provide sports bike like power. If you understand this, you will love the motorcycle. The best Enfields are the 650cc twin cylinder ones, and the Himalayan off roader.

‘Do we not have any rights?’ Indian Muslims’ fear after Assam evictions

Did Mr Jinnah ask for secular rights or religious returns(protection clauses)? In those times, people of both faiths used to very religious. So I guess he had a point. I think Indian muslims will do well only if they secularise. At that point, they won't be seen as a threat by the other faiths.
