China is taking lunar mining seriously

Again, gathering resource is fine, but annexing, not ok. China signed the Space Treaty, which agreed that the Moon and space and asteroids are common heritage of mankind and do not belong to any individual, organization or country. People may do things to them but they are held responsibility...

North Korean spy ship entered Japanese waters and was -- Neutralized

Misleading title (changed). :cheesy: Did they detonate their first nuke in 2003 or 2001? I can't quite remember. NK always has to do something or the world just forgets them. First the nuke, then the military exercise.

@Carlosa There is one thing you did not mention is that the feeling behind nationlism of Chinese people is not the love for the country, but more of a revenge desire for what the country suffered in the last 200 years. It's dangerous because the last time, it was Nazi Germans who felt the same...

North Korean spy ship entered Japanese waters and was -- Neutralized

I am wondering what NK TV will say about this. It'll be funny to see the angry Kim Jong-Un. @Nihonjin1051 It would be nice if you can show us a map of where the clash happened, or else some of our Chinese mems will try to defend NK, while we all know that NK is not that good of a peaceful...

Maybe @Viet has better summary than mine. The whole point is that CCP and Chinese govt no longer aim for a better society, where there is equality and justice (i.e ideal socialism), but to restore the former glory of the Middle Kingdom Empire, and they are ready to do anything, to sacrifice...

North Korean spy ship entered Japanese waters and was -- Neutralized

What can we say more? They are practically still at war with SK, and the whole NK think that they should focus more on the unification effort.

No, it's about Chinese athletes cried when they only got silver and bronze medals, like it was the end of the world. And then when they got the gold medal, Chinese cheered for the CCP more than the athletes themselves.

Well, the article goes deep into Chinese nationalism and its relationship with communism, and how CCP uses Chinese nationalism to firmly take hold of power. The article mostly talks about China and the Beijing Olympics, and how Chinese atheletes were obsess with the gold medal due to their...

Nuclear weapons development must be consistent

A nuclear war can only have two outcome: one half of the world destroyed, the other half withers and dies slowly in centuries, two the whole world destroyed, the end. So it's best not to have more nukes. Both China, Russia and US.

North Korean spy ship entered Japanese waters and was -- Neutralized

NK focus their resource on Military, Heavy industry and Medical. Those techs are quite up-to-date, for a poor country. But their Agriculture, Light industry and Trade are laugable.

Yo my man Carlosa. Can you read VNese? It would be great if you could take a look at the article in my above post. Don't worry the author has a pretty neutral tone and the content is no ultra nationalist smearing on China either. I am looking forward to your comment, cause you are a good poster...

Vietnamese communists call for end to communism

? Did I or @gambit mention the desertion rate in VN war? There were cowards, deserters and traitors on both sides, as in any wars ever happened or any wars that will happen. The longer the war drags on, the more complex it becomes. Oh and stop your racist comment. Even I respected those SV...

Nuclear weapons development must be consistent

You are right about the word deterrence. Nuke submarines, nuke trains or even hidden missle bases ensure the capability of nuclear retaliation of a country against another. If any country with nuke weapons decides to attack another with nuke capability, it's sure that they will never fire a...

Vietnamese communists call for end to communism

The battle of Khe Sanh alone cost around 22.000 NV troops. Many platoons were wiped out. Troops sent to recover the bodies of fallen soldiers were also killed by fierce US air strike and cannons. I guess NV gens wanted a second Dien Bien Phu at Khe Sang, but they failed. So many lives thrown away.
