Turkey is producing 71 Ammunition Supply Vehicle for Firtina Howitzer

They fully reload self propelled artillery guns once they expand their internal shell racks. Many nations who have modern self propelled artillery guns use loaders vehicles (which are based on the same chassis to supply them)

Russian T-90 tank versus German Leopard 2A6 tank

I always preferred the idea of having a extra crew member rather then sticking a autoloader in tanks. Unlike the autoloader the crew member can fill other roles inside the tank and act as an extra pair of eyes and ears. Russians have always gone with smaller low profile tanks with auto loaders...

Russian T-90 tank versus German Leopard 2A6 tank

That is a laughable comparison. Different leagues all together. The Russians still try though.

    Turkey-Afghanistan-Pakistan Military Exercise Commenced

The exercise was proposed by Turkey as a way to bring Afghan and Pakistan together and also improve ties on counter terrorism. It is great that it is taking place. If it becomes a yearly exercise that would be a needed improvement.

Turkey and France clash over Libya air campaign

I can't guarantee anything even if a consensus is reached in NATO that just means everyone in NATO is agreed on the course of action. No one is waving a list of promises with a mission accomplished sign at the bottom. We are just looking to stop Gaddafi from killing his own people. They are...

Turkey and France clash over Libya air campaign

What the AKP does is not the collective view of the Turkish people. However it is of course Turkey's official view of the matter. They are the leadership i never said they are not. I have no dictatorial views or concepts. If i did why would i be backing the rebels efforts to overthrow one. It...

Turkey and France clash over Libya air campaign

No see i don't cry about everything the modernized nations do so i can please the Muslim majority for political gain. Unlike Erdogan in Jeddah. Then getting angry at France for not caring to invite the crying "humanitarians" for Paris. NATO has legitimacy because there is a common consensus...

Why Arabs Need Their Foreign Mercenaries

I was not talking about those i am referring to modern operations. As in 1900> Or simply put the teams that took part in the exercise had varying levels of experience. I wouldn't look to a exercise as a way to gauge the capability of military more then just their activity level.

Turkey and France clash over Libya air campaign

What can you expect from someone that married his 15 year old cousin. These people are going to get us kicked out of NATO if they keep this up. I don't like Sarkozy but there is a reason him and other states are starting to cut us out(though not inviting us to the paris conference certainly...

US soldier gets 24 years for murders of 3 Afghans

Oh i know they are common. Even more so when you have multiple suspects to convict. Turning one against the others seals the deal pretty fast.

Why Arabs Need Their Foreign Mercenaries

Not very factual to me. We beat them at their own exercise. Also that doesn't say much considering the "modern western" USAF came dead last. Anatolian Eagle is far more comprehensive then scrambling/weapons load and dropping iron bombs.

Turkey puts F-35 order on hold over US refusal to share technology

I see the point your making. We should at least try however i doubt the prospect of us getting source codes as being a infinite thing. I am sure we will get them eventually like the case with the F-16. We also did land the composite fuselage deal and engine parts for the F-35. So it isn't like...

Turkey jets pounds PKK camps in Northern Iraq

Back to work as usual. Now that winter is over the PKK are out of their caves.

Human error led to 45% of IAF air crashes

Like i said it isn't a requirement per say but it would be good if pilots experienced their first sustained supersonic speeds in trainer aircraft rather then a operational fighter jet. Doesn't seem like the trainers are the cause of these high crash rates though.

Why Arabs Need Their Foreign Mercenaries

Is this a attempt to bolster Israel because they defeated the armies of arab states ? These states are not capable of keeping effective standards. Their pilots don't fly out on a patrols of the Aegean everyday or navies and take part in multinational operations or exercises through out the...

Human error led to 45% of IAF air crashes

Kiran and Sitara are they used in conjunction with each other or transition (if so what is the gain) or is one phasing out the other ? I would think HPT-32>Sitara>Hawk>respective aircraft would be the most logical route India would use.

Human error led to 45% of IAF air crashes

Hawk can go supersonic for a few seconds in dives but not leveled flight. Not that a supersonic trainer is required or anything. It doesn't look like the lack of trainers are the cause. However if it is in that order you still didn't answer my question of why 2 subsonic jets ?

US soldier gets 24 years for murders of 3 Afghans

I think they gave him a shorter sentence because of his plea agreement. He will now testify against the others that took part in the killing. A higher sentence should have been handed out imo though.
