well no country has used thorium in missiles. pdv can already intercept multiple missiles and destroy them. soon to be tested. anyways if we can destroy a missile why should we waste our thorium or uranium. let the missile do the job.

i have no idea abt the cost of the reactor. but if india has decided to build 100s of them definitely they have thought abt the costs. thorium reactors r considered safer and better with reserves in hand. once large scale building on such reactors start in say in 2020, costs would also come...
