    Jordan expels Israeli ambassador

It is a topic that could deserve it's own thread. The Jordanians and PLA certainly see it as a successful battle. In Israel the feelings are mixed. You have to take into account that the battle took place shortly after the Six day war, so even holding on against the Israeli army was thought of...

The Day After a Strike on Iran

LOL what? I am getting tiered of this, please quote me anywhere where I said that or apologize. Otherwise you can go on and have a conversation with yourself in front of the mirror, since you are not reading what I type anyway. Straw man alert, straw man alert. I have said pretty much nothing...

The Day After a Strike on Iran

I don't think you understand, I listed countries where Iran is involved. I didn't write a judgment if the involvement is justified. For me not every action Iran makes is automatically evil. The fact that you would assume so just hints at your own prejudice against others... Hamas' main sponsor...

    Jordan expels Israeli ambassador

Doritos, you're right Jordanian forces were sent to fight Israel, I was wrong. The reason why I forgot about them is that they fought so poorly and had no effect.

    Jordan expels Israeli ambassador

That's just not true. Jordan did not participate, They actually tried to warn Israel that war is coming a day before the invasion. Iraq sent some troops which fought pretty well compared to other Arab armies.

The Day After a Strike on Iran

And you are so sure because...? As I noted in my previous post, historically speaking a regime change was not needed, what was required is conclusive action. I am not sure where you got that "big war" from, but that's not what anyone is suggesting.

The Day After a Strike on Iran

Maybe not by the guy who wrote this, there were literally dozens of studies both in Israel and USA about exactly this, not to mention additional European studies. This is where the guy who wrote this lost credibility for me. 1. not true, there was a lot of debate. 2. Drawing parallel lines...

    Jordan expels Israeli ambassador

By the way, claiming Egypt is hated while they are getting no interest loans from Arab countries left and right is interesting...

West aims to strengthen ‘moderate’ rebels!

Again, please explain how would you actually go about it if they choose to stay? with time they are probably converting locals to their ideology as well. Should they choose to leave you are still not rid of the problem. Now you have a bunch of war trained extremists with advanced weapons going...

    Jordan expels Israeli ambassador

Sorry long post incoming. Mahatir, so much wishful thinking I almost feel sorry for you when all those dreams will be sunk by the reality. Turkey didn't do anything special for the Syrians, there was no practical way to seal off the long border from refugees. Refugees from Syria went to every...

West aims to strengthen ‘moderate’ rebels!

Considering it failed pretty much on every occasion to one degree or another you're awfully optimistic. How would you suggest rooting out thousands of Jihadists from a quite large population of millions?

West aims to strengthen ‘moderate’ rebels!

I sincerely hope the west has learned it's lesson in Afghanistan and would not supple MANPADS to the FSA. However the FSA could get their hands on some of the "missing" ones from Libya.

New era in Cyprus Israel relations

Seems like my memory served my right, the joint project is circled:

New era in Cyprus Israel relations

The reserves found so far are quite far from Turkey, no one is ignoring Turkey just like no one ignoring Egypt, Italy or other irrelevant countries. Though perhaps my memory fails me? I am pretty sure that all reserves found are to the east and south of Cyprus. As far as I can see relevant...

    Jordan expels Israeli ambassador

First of all I would like to start with an apology, I went in a bit too rough on you. They are not braking into anything, this is the route that was authorized by the police. This group just decided to jog this part I guess. It is symbolic to the conquering of Jerusalem in the 1967 war, which...

    Jordan expels Israeli ambassador

I'll compile this into a list to keep it simple: 1. The video is not shot in Al Aqssa but in Jerusalem, some of it outside of the old city. There is no break in into Al Aqssa. that would be lie number one. The gate they are shot running toward is of Jerusalem. 2. They are not calling for...

Study: Germans see Islam as a threat

The core difference in this is that extremists are "sensationalists" while gangs are not, or are on a much much smaller scale. religious motivation was always better at making mindless zealots. There is also the fact that gangs have some kind of rational thoughts (greed) behind them, extremists...

Syrian Electronic Army Hacks Israel's Main Infrastructure Control System

I happen to be in Haifa atm. It's nice to find out I have no utilities while surfing the internet under A/C after a nice long shower :D

Israel launches air strikes on Syria

That's too broad a subject, not to mention off topic, so I am going to leave it at that I don't agree with you :).
