India eyes China tech for railway expansion

@LR... Yes indeed... China would be interested in the online booking systems from Indian Railways I suppose. It would be a win-win for both. The article also mentions that this will help India get a broader access to the Chinese IT market.

India eyes China tech for railway expansion

I am sure a buck for the fake flags wouldn't have put a dent in one's pocket. As for nationalism, I think the Anna Hazare movement was a huge success... thanks to the cheap fake flags... I am grateful. ;)

indian double decker trains : any idea when will it be operational ?

The double decker rakes are only meant for commuter routes, any journey within 5-6 hours. If people can travel in local buses for that long without pushback seats, they can do so in these bogies as well. I doubt they will be introduced for long distance routes.

The First Human To Fly Was A Muslim

Maybe such news should be posted in a new Muslim Aviation section instead of Military Aviation. Why can't people keep science and religion separate?

    India & Maoists

Unless people are massacred and there is military action inside Nepal which causes refugees to flee into India, India is not going to try any action in Nepal. But it is highly likely that there will be underground support for the opposition to overthrow the communists in Nepal.

It is possible that this is indeed the wreckage of the ship that supposedly sunk near Sri Lanka. In the first half of the year the ocean currents are northwards in a clock-wise direction in the Bay of Bengal. We should wait for a confirmation from the Chinese company which owned this ship.
