PNS Babur re-sails to its mission.

This is so true. I saw one of the Indian wives probably Mrs. Ayer or Mrs. Sharma, saying on Indian media that her grandfather asked her not to worry any more after Pakistanis got involved. Grand Father told her and the family " the biggest gift you can have is the frienship of a sachha(True)...

JF-17 Thunder Multirole Fighter [Thread 3]

Mind yoy missiles will be guided by the mother aircraft to a certain distance before the guidance is taken over by your AWACS. Missile's guidance system will then guide it to the target in the last stage.

China & Pak: Russia’s Not Stopping the Flow of JF-17 Engines

At General Dynamics we did a study of Flankers and its impact on our Business Development efforts internationally and the results surprised us. We need to be very careful when comparing Flankers with other aircrafts. Realistically, it is one of the best if not the best among the 4th gen...

China & Pak: Russia’s Not Stopping the Flow of JF-17 Engines

Amazing how soon the Russian change their tune and then come up with an excuse. Evidently a bad news for those who were very happy with the earlier news that Russians had blocked the sale. Pakistan keeps all its options open. ACM's comments regarding engines were true. This news should stop any...

China-Pak in MoU to develop stealth variant of JF-17 Thunder

I do not believe in trolling. In fact I am too old to even know what the word meant until I googled to find out. I am sorry if my post enraged you. But you cannot blame me to react to certain posts with baseless arguments. One of them is that since Chinese Air Force has not inducted or...

China-Pak in MoU to develop stealth variant of JF-17 Thunder

Let us not blame them. Most in India have been let down by DRDO, Hal, and ADA, and now riled up after being blindsided by Pakistan and China. It is a defeat difficult to accept. First they thought that JF-17 would never become a reality before LCA did. Once it did, line of attack became that...

JF-17 Thunder Multirole Fighter [Thread 3]

Wow, Apearance of Thunder at FIA has forced many things to come out in the open which Indian would never say before. Now the crux of discussion is JF-17 VS Su-30MK1. Jf-17 will be eaten alive by SU-30MK1 but they do not mention Thunder eaten alive by Tejas, Mirage-2000 or Mig-29. Now we...

Export bids for JF-17 Thunder Multirole Lightweight Fighter Aircraft

I am sure RD-93 will be ultimately replaced. If you compare the new pictures of incoming JF-17s 113 % 114 with the older ones, you may notice a bulge in the belly just under the exchausr cone. Changes have definitely been made. Notice the intake looks smaller than before. Hopefully some...

    Pakistan F-16 Discussions 2

Looks like none of the Falcons going to Nellis are from the original batch of F-16 Pakistan had. Going are the F-16AR Block-15(OCU) received recently from USAF. Their Sub-Block designation AR means that they are already upgraded to Block-40 version.

PAF receives first batch of F-16 Block-52 Aircraft

Chill out every one crying about CFTs and not finding them on the new arrivals. Lets get away with this mind set that if we do not see something we want to see, then it is piece of junk. For your information, external fuel tanks are mostly used for ferrying flights and that is a normal...

PAF receives first batch of F-16 Block-52 Aircraft

They make hardly any difference in agility or operation of F-16 when flying subsonic. But they are a big drag when going supersonic. Faster the dpeed-bigger the drag. CFTs cannot be jettisoned during a flight. It takes ground crew at least 2 to 3 hours to remove them.

    Pakistan F-16 Discussions 2

Yes they are highly trained and motivated but most of their training is not combat related as you may think. My opinions are based more on observations, conversations, and popular beliefs about RSAF. I hate to divulge information that may be misconstrued. I may not be as knowledgeable as...

    Pakistan F-16 Discussions 2

US has said in past that sanctioning the F-16s was a big mistake. Now they may be making a big show of their support by sending US central command General David Petraeus and US air chief Norton A Schwartz They are expected to arrive on June, 26 and will participate in the special ceremony to...

    Pakistan F-16 Discussions 2

Mastan Khan Saheb, We are talking about the flying skills and the years of flying experience. Pakistani pilots have far more experience flying F-16s than Singapore pilots. We are not talking about blocks. I have personally witnessed how a highly experienced pilot on an older block can make a...

    Pakistan F-16 Discussions 2

Thanks. Comparing the RSAF with Pakistan is a joke. Many are not even aware of the strange deployment of RSAF. 70% of its F-16 Blk-52 and 100% of F-15s are based in USA as foreign detachments and used for training and not in Singapore.
