Good observation, Karthic. Turban styles do indeed vary depending upon the individual community. The first link has a turban similar to the one in my profile pic. Its usually a more religious style worn by the Nihangs or the Khalsa Sikhs. Khalsa as you would know is a higher, baptized form of Sikhism. And all Nihangs are Khalsa but all Khalsa might not be Nihangs.
The second link is the generally preferred style. Shorter and easier to tie than the previous Nihang version. Another thing, the Nihang turban is a very ceremonial style. Although a Nihang may prefer this style at all times, a Khalsa would prefer the style only on ceremonial occasions.

Good to know that TN was rarely under rule of alien powers. What do think about politics in TN? Its been dominated by regional parties any chance of growing BJP? Is it true that reservation in TN is 67% as I have read it somewhere.
