at least 20% of the order i can confirm. 25 guns out of 119 ordered. u well may be knowing that the 119 order is the last order on the assembly line as it switches to the paladins. future acquisitions of this type would then be from US EDA stocks as well as spares.

u see this is where the PAF planners expertise comes in - they tend to do a great job of utilising their resources. lets hope for the best. i also think under the present threat-perception, i wouldnt be surprised if the govt. speeds up the procurement process esp. for the PAF.

I think you're right in essence, if FC-20 can equal F-16 Blk 52 or even 60, PAF has nothing to worry about. However I hope the Chinese will be able to keep the cost down for us because J-10A is already around 40 million USD including logistics/maintenance and 30 million USD for the Chinese to operate.

at this time the FC-20 with western avionics suite and BVR is the best the PAF can do in the next 3-5 years. all 4th gen western a/c are off-limits not because france or even sweden wont sell it to us, it is actually the money. PAF due to its limited resources will always like greater bang for its bucks (read quality and quantity). what will the indian MMRCA be in the end, your guess is as good as mine. the IAF seems to be very happy with the Su-30, so the MiG-35 IMO is right in the thick of the battle with the Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet. one more thing, a fully souped up FC-20 will be just as good as a F-16C blk 52. so thats not a bad thing IMO. the rest is left up to pilot training.

Hello old friend.
My operation was on 26nov. I had a lot of discomfort still on both sides . So I was seen yesterday and they have injected my knees with some new magic drug they have. I will require 2 more on either side at a weeks interval.Although initially painful, they seem to be working. Please remember me in your prayers.
