Zimbabwe arrests two Pakistani suspects

So who has credibility according to you in Zimbabwes internal affairs, If not the Zimbabwe police?? Dont tell me Pakistans ISPR.

My dear friend Zimbabwe has "Zero" credibility in the world, from its resources to education.. Especially anything coming out of this government is total hogwash.

University World News - ZIMBABWE: Confronting a credibility crisis

Just because someone eat your cheese, don't look to the mouse... Next time think about logic before starting your troll steamroller. Zimbabwe has no strategic depth, why would cells be there?

Compare that to places like Somalia, Kenya, Botswana and you may have a point. But Zimbabwe, please give me a break!

Well actually , they are quite a credible police force. Based in Southern Africa, I can assure you that the Zim police are highly trained. It was the Zim Secret Service which lost credibility during Mugabe's reign but now that the PM Tsvangarai has assumed executive power in Zim, that nation is being internationally recognised as a southern African major role player. Zim police are trained not only by South African police but also by British police forces. Their investigative skills are acknowledged internationally. So in effect, to claim that the Zim police hold no credibility is without any merit. Also, don't forget that this was a joint operation between the Zim police and one of the world's best organised police forces, namely the South African Police.

I am talking about the government's overall credibility, don’t take things out of context and for someone living in Botswana you ought to know about the mining crimes and degree scams run but the previous government.

Not forgetting to mention the constant ban on international observers and press in the country... Transparency International has also been very critical of Zimbabwe.

It is very easy just to paint every canvas with the same brush, but the difference between responsible states and irresponsible actors bent on grabbing headlines to cover their own inadequacies is statements like the one release by Zimbabwe.

Now it looks more murky..

The Pakistani's arrested are terrorists or only fake passport dealers.. maybe thats why interpol was involved.. lets wait for few days and see what happenes.

BTW news also coming in that six Pakistani men have been arrested in South Africa for fake passportshop.

@batman - I hope now you will undrestand the passport acquring process and stop dragging India into into it...

I hope that indian's will stop taking pot shots at Pakistani's on a Pakistani fourm. If you can't be neighbourlike then please refrain from posting such flamers!

Because that is what they incite, flamers. Why is it that all of a sudden there is so much attention from you guys on what happens to Pakistanis?

Seven held for hacking online passport software :

HYDERABAD: Seven people were arrested here for hacking the online passport application software of the Hyderabad regional passport office, police said Friday.

Police Commissioner A.K. Khan told reporters that seven people, who included passport agents, were arrested and search was on for two others involved in the racket.

The accused, who hacked the online software a week ago, were using it to book slots for registration of passport applications.

The passport officials, who grew suspicious at some agents managing to get many slots, informed the police.

The police commissioner's Task Force took up the inquiry. Police arrested main accused Latadhar Rao in Guntur. Several computers and hard disks have been seized from the accused.

The police chief said they were on the lookout for two other accused.

The gang was busted a day after the police commissioner announced setting up of a special police station to deal with cyber crimes.

Over 100,000 applications are pending in the passport office here. There have been allegations of corruption with alleged collusion between employees and agents leading to inordinate delays in getting the passports.

Last month, the passport office authorised 96 agents to receive applications for police clearance certificate and other miscellaneous services offered by it.

Each agent was allowed to receive four applications for police clearance certificate and miscellaneous services and five applications for fresh passports and renewals every day.

My post was well relevant to the thread...surprisingly, yours is not..

about the posts that you dont want to read against your country, inspite of the topic being the same, then please close the thread or dont look at it...both Indians and Pakistani members are involved in country bashing most of the time.

My point exactly. I live here and have a first hand experience of issues involving Southern Africa. Your dissing of the Zim police was unwarranted. I suggest that you check on the latest news on the going ons in Zim before you mouth off that nation. The new government is extremely credibile. That nation is heading in the right direction. To simply scoff at the article because it is the Zim police who arrested the suspects is tantamount to scoffing at any news that the Pakistani army is genuine in busting terror cells in Pakistan. For your information, the South African Police, Botswana Police, Zim Police and Namibian Police work closely as a single unit in busting international criminals. If you still have no faith in the Zim Police for whatever mayhem that nation went through and emerged out of in the past ten years, do you also hold the other nations mentioned as "not being credible"?? I can assure you that all those other nations hold more credibility than any of our South Asian nations. Now read the article again and you will see that the South African Police were also involved in this operation. So do you still stand behind your assertion that one of the world's most respected and powerful police forces, the South African Police, colluded with the former leader of Zim Robert Mugabe (who now holds a ceremonial position as President) and colluded with your so called " non credible" police force the Zim Police, to detain 2 innocent Pakistanis just to get some positive media attention so that Zimbabwe can be recognised as an internationally accepted nation?? If you are then I must say that you have developed a new ceiling height for conspiracy theories

So now you question my impartiality, very interesting.

My post is very relevant, im sorry but if someone comes out and claims that part (a) is a potential terrorist, then the onus of proving evidence is on party (b), they need to have solid proof, they need to have credibility and impartiality.

Zimbabwe so far based on the press release has nothing but some substantial rubbish and loosely knit theories. Sorry but in my book that is just not good enough to label someone a terrorist.

Also i am intrigued. Why are such posts always made by Indian's? And what is more interesting is you have yet to comment on the facts i have presented in my previous posts.

Care to address them before continuing your feeble attack on my posts or their relevance? Or has logic eluded you?

Continue opening trashy threads, it really has no baring on the reality that is around us. I am one of softer members on this forum when it comes to visitors but increasingly the useless posts and comments coming from our neighbours on this forum is starting to concern me.

Please, don't be insecure. We can talk about other thing, more positive things (or would you rahter dwell on the neative?) Progress is a two way process.

My friend i was assigned under CVIPOL in S.A so don't lecture me about "knowing" or "checking".

Pakistanis are getting caught all over the world under various terror charges. It seems that entire generation is brainwashed from general zia-ul-haq's hate curriculum back in 1970's.
Pakistani society needs some serious introspection rather than blaming india for all their woes.
Pakistani society is under some serious crises.
They themselves have to take some serious steps regarding this bcoz if they don't, no one will.

Travel statistics of hindustani to Chile need to be checked since around 2004.
Without hindusatan involvement there can't be mischeif of any sort.
If those were travelling on kenyan passports than how come it is acertsained that those were Pakistanis?

BTW. Chilean companies are interested in making investments in Pakistan, in building minerals development industry and RAW cannot absorb it.
Indians are planning to send indian army in disguise to Blauchistan and plan has been already underway, with complicity of Zardari clan.
Pakistan people should reject any such plans.

They were already in the interpols terror list.moreover the zimbawean police must have slapped them a couple of times and they revealed everything.

So by that analysis:
The seven million Pakistan's living abroad are all gun toting, bomb making terrorists? ... Use some logic, the actions of one cannot be used to judge the fate of many!

first you the answer to your claim that your previous post was avoided...

Care to address them before continuing your feeble attack on my posts or their relevance? Or has logic eluded you?

..you previous post talked about Indian fake passport network in India..which has much to do with the corruptioon in India andis an internal matter of India.....my post was about the six men arrested in S.africa at almost the same time when two pakistani men were arrested in Zimbabwe as terrorist suspect.....if you care to go through the thread..a pakistani member has also raised the point of this fake passport racket by pakistanis in S.A might have the connection with two suspects in Zimbabwe......

I hope now you get the point why your post was not relevant and mine was ??

hope now your previous post is fully adressed....whom has logic eluded now ??

sorry to say, but its clear who are feeling insecured....anyways..yes, I am open to positive things..will talk about it when something positive comes in he way..apart from these news..do open a thread and find me there.

Likewise my friend. I am also under assignment here on investigative assignment in Botswana and live regularly in SA and Zim. If indeed you were based in SA, you would definately know that motto which reads that "things in Africa happen and change overnight". Your perception of Zim and its police force seems to be outdated by at least 3 years. Take it from me. You were here. I am here.

Typical (self centered and inward) ... No i was referring to the credibliity of Zimbabwe... Check my posts and if you have a suitable rebuttal then come back to me...
