The u.s becoming the worlds largest exporter of energy will definetly keep the chinese in check and still help the dollar to some extent but at the end of the day the printing presses at the treasury are running full speed and that has created a huge bubble in the stock market as you probably know already.The U.S. will soon be the largest exporter of energy. Then what ?
Their money is pretty much worthless. They had 100 trillion dollar banknotes that are now souvenirs. They had to switch to the dollar. Unfortunately now they have the reverse problem...a dollar is worth so much nobody has any coin change! So they'll take anything now.
