I disagree. I think BB was the architecct of her own destruction. She was corrupt in her own right and was too stubborn to listen to him or anybody. With him or without him, she would still have meted the same fate. In many ways it was her stubbornness that led to her downfall.
I agree with JK's notion that he is a consumate politician. In this short while he has out shown, Gunja, not that it would have taken many neurons to do that. I only wish he takes a long term view to looting slowly while developing the country.
I know you will sneer at this. But i think who soever comes to the front of Pakistani politics will be corrupt. Now my theory is that if they have had their fill, they will taker the view of a baniya, that if you develop the pool, enough, there will be more to eat form it in the long term. In my view, this is the only realistic way , that a politician will develop Pakistan.
Even during military rule, Pakistan has been looted,if not by people like Ayub, Yahya, Zia and Musharaf but by some one in power along with them. If you look at history, ther are always people who have made money out of martial Law and military rule. So why not a politician!!! The only hope is that they realize that a more developed pakistan will mean more to eat for all of them.
