WHY BRAGGING ? HUH? cause we were able to do it that's why?i remember back in 2009 i felt unsafe going out in bazars and public places,swat became from a heaven on earth to hell ? In 2k15 i have visted the far side of north i felt the change,It is F***ing safe now! army laid tons lives for ya mate,3400 terrorist got there boarding passes to hell mate,cool innit?
There is Problem in Pakistan if you don't tell out loud no one is gonna listen/appreciate to ya.

This war started---when you barely came out of your diapers---14 years ago---no disrespect----.

So---most of the power of al qaeda should have been smashed by the time you were able to put on your Knickers to go to your first grade class and sing the national anthem for the first time.

Son---it is all about timing---time is the enemy of the state---the state must never ever let the fear of the strike 'wane' away from the heart of the culprit----.

The more time you give to the culprit---the more fearless he gets and more opportunities he gets to hurt you---the more ways he can find to do damage to you---and that is where the problem lies.

Pakistan military is no rag tag military----even during sanctions---it was still a full fledged operational and professional military force---but with WEAK MANAGERS.

A military must follow 4 s's----SSSS---Strike quick--Strike hard---Strike deep---Strike relentlessly and do not stop till the enemy is dead----.

And then afterwards take care of the media and the public---but kill the enemy first---once the enemy is dead---let the public and the media scream their heads off for a moment---and then shut them up----but a dead enemy cannot wake up---an escaped enemy can play havoc.

Welcome to the forum---. It is the job of the military to make the public understand and not " SAMJHAIYN "----.

Public needs to be controlled in the proper manner---. There was too much freedom given to news and tv media---and pakistan paid heavily for it.

" Not easy to launch "----you should read operation blue star---how the indian military took out the sikhs----and that also thru a sikh general----.

Indira Gandhi had ballz 10 times larger than most of these of pakistani generals---.

and what was the outcome?? Punjab saw the worst of terrorism and it was a mad house for more than a decade...thousands dead and billions down the gutter....punjab is still paying the price of that lost decade....I am not arguing the merits and demerits of PA operation however the example you are using to showcase your point is flawed....

The year is 1993-94---the place is civic center---City of Torrance, Calif---and we are gathered there for the Eid prayers.

The prayer start---and we are going thru the Takbir----and suddenly----a speech penetrates thru the walls from the other side---.

Interestingly---there was an Alcoholics Anonymous AA class going on------. The voice is saying / admitting---I am an alcholic----I admit it in front of all you people---I am here to seek help---I am here to make myslef better-----.

To me---standing in prayer along with the congregation in front of my muslim God----and then listening to the confessions of a man admitting to his SIN in front a congregation of his peers---and I am thinking--W'Allah---I am here standing--and quietly praying with other members and seeking forgiveness of our sins----an no one knows what our sins are---and this man in a AA class is openly admitting his guilt and seeking help.

The reason I am harping it on and on over and over---because it is not a ' dead horse '-----. The consequences of inaction or delayed actions are terrifying---.

I see it in a totally different perspective; a global perspective, an insurgency occurs in Libya and it ends with Gaddafi being killed, Assad is still fighting and loosing day by day to extremists; Afghanistan aided with your favourite and yardstick of military standards US army and NATO with their latest state of the art military hardware and billions of dollars; have comprehensively failed with Taliban taking the control of Kunduz and Hilmand; they are flat on the ground by every established parameter of defeat (not going into details here since that's out of the scope of this thread).
Pakistan army, facing an ever belligerent and conspiring India under war mongering Modi and a terrorist NSA Ajit Dogal, wavering US support and incompetent and utterly corrupt govt in Islamabad; goes into one of the most difficult terrains in the world, and fights with the terrorists who are thoroughly brainwashed, very well-versed with the local geography and local weather, and have no respect for human life even if it is their own and equipped with some of the latest frequency hoppers and weapons by our enemies i.e. RAW, NDS and others; Pak army kills them, drives them out of their hideout and annihilates their command and control structure. And that's not all, fighting Balochistan insurgents and succumbing the uprising sponsored and supported by so many names MI6, Iran, UAE, RAW and even Mossad. Even that's not all, Karachi infested with sleeper cells of enemy with hardened target killers, suicide-bombers, purse and mobiles snatchers (petty criminal but in large numbers) and worst of all, a totally corrupt and compromised police and above all a thorougly corrupt, incompetent and criminal provincial govt, Pak army through rangers cleans the city so much so that people walk freely in the night on roads and public places after decades and no go areas are wiped out. Do I need to say something more...I guess you would have access to a nice clean mirror....and I know you are self respecting and an honourable person...so if you have realised....just spend 30-40 minutes with it....do a monologue...for your analysis and to see what is wrong in your life right now that is bugging you so much that ....I know some 4 lettered words may automatically slip out of your mind and tongue but it will help to you lessen the burden on your conscience and let you sleep in a good way and see why Pak Army has every reason to be proud of their performance in the recent 3-4 yrs. I know you are much older, wiser and knowledgeable than me however reading all your posts in this thread i didn't understand the purpose of starting this thread. There is no denying what you said is correct, wrong decisions were made and many things could have been done differently (although i do not agree that all of it was Army's fault) however that is all in the past, how do you think it is any use to anyone to whine about it now? There is general consensus that General Raheel Sahrif is trying to right all the wrongs and things are moving in the right direction, unless you know something which we don't, in which case, i would request you to discuss what needs to be done "NOW" and in future. Seniors like yourself should avoid starting such threads as they are demoralizing for the youngsters who already have a few threads to cling to.

Great Post indeed congrats but what about the fact that Oil Rich wahabi middle eastern GCC nations do most of the funding of taliban and were first to rekognise there government in Afghanistan along with pakistan and all these good or bad taliban or freedom fighters as you call them are hard core sunni and wahabi ideologists and besides NDS or RW&A there is a very heavy fixed force of CIA & NATO then how come they let NDS & RW&A do and get away with all that you suggested against there Most Important Non NATO Ally on whome they are so dependent for there supply routes and nagociations with various taliban and its splinter groups ?
