Lol Have you ever gone to any neutral site where they discuss the JF17. Within minutes hordes of Indians flood it claiming the Tejas has been offered etc etc. They usually fade away when you tell them that the MK1A won't even fly till 2024.

Looks like thte Zambian Airforce is evalulating the FC-1, not JF17. There is a difference in spec between the JF17 and FC-1 which leads to a difference in the name - Mynamar bought the FC-1 and not JF17, given that China is in the lead on this engagement - it looks like the FC-1 variant is on the table..

But I think they are both same.

They are the same except for the fact that it changes name depending on who is buying it. The only differences (If needed ) will be the ejection seat and the EW suite.

I think they are the same except in China it's called FC-1 and in Pakistan JF-17 as can be seen same aircraft bearing both designations on either sides.

(J/king; Would be nice if Chad bought the JF-17; Chadian JF-17) But on a serious note; The JF-17 would be ideal for a country like Chad with instability in neighboring Mali and Libya

This Air Chief commanded a mirage squadron, Hence the model. And it's not mirage 2000 in my opinion.
