Just take the example of this century (19th) where in 1946 it was one country, 1947 it was 2...... and now 3 countries including Bangladesh.

In 1971, it was Pakistan.. not India.. which was divided.

It is just not possible to see UNITED INDIA in future too, there are many differences in India, peoples from different states speak different language, their colour is difference, their culture is different, their religion is different, their moral values are also different. I mean in order to stay united you have to have few common things among peoples but there are too many differences in different parts of India

Ever heard 'Unity in Diversity'? Yes, we speak different language, have many cultures, religions, colours, races ... but we are bonded by a magic word INDIA!

I am not bashing at India but it is possible that after couple of decades this UNITY may not exist and it will ultimately mean independance in several states of India........

I am not telling that you're an ignorant person, but you've to know more about Indian unity.

Is it really the Gujrat riot that you base your opinion upon? btw its a riot and not massacre, even hindus were killed in that riot.
If its really the Guj riot, then did you have a clean and favorable opinion about India before the riots? I bet not.
You were probably grown up around people hating India and in that case there is nothing that can change that. That is the difference between India and Pakistan. Pakistanis are emotional and Indians can overcome emotion and think for a sec.

You need to think, work upon and then conclude. Not conclude and then cite a reason for it.

I know Pakistan was seperated but pre-1947 partition it was one country so i was basically referring to the whole region

Best of Luck to India, all i was saying is..... history continued repeating itself and India's map kep changing....... it is also possible instead of seperation india goes bigger in future...... but one thing is certain that the indian might have been changing in every century

frankly speaking the partition idea was proposed by the aligarh muslim elite and the awadh taluqadars.The people of present day pakistan literally had no idea of partition until 1946,there were a nobody in indian politics at that time .The Muslim league was nothing but a coterie of disgruntled nawabs and the old UP ruling elite .It never even had clout among the muslim masess including jinnah,faz-ul-haq of Praja karshak party(East bengal)and Mohammad shaukat ali and Sikandhar and khizr Hayat khan (Unionist party) Punjab,Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan of NWFP had more grip over the people.The Unionist Party only agreed to partition when they understood that Nehru would abolish the Zamindari system

I wonder why its always Indians who are so obsessed about rejecting partition, and no Pakistani ever thinks partition was a mistake.

Dont you indians get it that we Pakistanis dont want to share our land and our resources with 900 million hindus.

Even if Pakistan and India were one country, it would never be a superpower because there would be sectarian and religious clashes all over the subcontinent. Muslims of the north-west (Pakistan) would never trust hindus we are not like indian "muslims" who have to go out of their way to prove their loyalty to india, we wont be afraid to say in a hindu's face that we are Muslims first and we would rather side with Muslims from other countries than with hndus. Muslims and hindus lived peacefully before because Muslims ruled the subcontinent for a thousand years and then the british ruled the subcontinent (who treated Muslims and hindus equally).

Not 99% but 100% of crap against Pak is created by Indians and 100% of crap against India is created by Pakistanis. Its not that Hindus hate Muslims but Indians hate Pakistanis and vice versa.

Its gonna stay that way. Even Indian muslims hate Pakistan. Can't help it.
