I can also make a few demands - and that too; based on religion - that I know you will reject. This way, I can claim that I tried to remain united but YOU fkd it up.From 1920 the whole standing of ML was no change in Muslim majority provinces (and establishment of sindh as separate province)
For example, I can make a nonsense demand that only Jains and Paris’s should have the right to vote. Ofcourse such demands won’t make sense, but you see, I’m trying to keep us united so you have to agree with me otherwise I’ll blame you for separation.
Once you reject the demands, I’ll call for ‘direct action day’ and let the civilians kill each other. Now that sounds like a very noble plan, you know.
Mujib also gave a ‘few points agenda’ to remain united - asking more autonomy for his state, and the rest is history.
That’s why I said, both Jinnah and Mujib have same ideologies. So let’s have a Mujib-Jinnah Cup, sponsored by BCCI.
