Though i am not fan of zaid hamid but the above quoted remark is either one of his fan's but if its his own then his level of argument has gone sooooo low. First of all, this idiot (who ever it is) does not know that islam is not just for Muslims but for entire MAN KIND and Hindus happens to be one of them! According to Islam before end of times the entire mankind will be Muslims which includes every single Indian.
As for two nation theory, i can confidently say that 70% of our high income class society are liberals so they do not really care much about Islam and purse western or Indian lifestyle. I am not in a position to label most of our middle and lower income class society as liberals but most of them are pursing Indian lifestyle i.e HEAVILY influenced by bollywood culture so it only goes to show that the two nation theory is dying out. Pakistan needs ALOT of work to be done before it slightly associates itself with Islam.
