They are already making excuses like 'no money changed hands on the video', conveniently ignoring the fact that Gillani was specifically directing the individuals to mark their ballots a particular way (write numbers and fold the ballot in a specific manner) so that those ballots could later be identified as belonging to the individuals he was talking to.

Why would you need to identify the ballots of specific individuals unless it was to confirm they voted the way you wanted them to and pay the bribe.

Martial law is not the answer.

Votes in the Senate can be bought, but the PTI showed it can win the general elections with the support of people.

It is Pakistanis that need to see what is happening, all the money and resources being poured into defeating and maligning the PTI so that the old corrupt dynastic political parties can return (and it wouldn't surprise me if the US/UK were involved in this as well, given that the PMLN & PPP are much more pliable for them and much more open to undermining the military and basically accepting India as their mamu).

It is Pakistanis that need to turn out in record numbers again and vote for the PTI in the next elections to give them a big enough majority to bring about reforms.
