Contraceptives, hell yeah......... however, Abortion only and only if there's danger to mothers life or fetus has severe defects / genetic abnormalities which guarantee it can't survive or lead a purposeful life......... may the Almighty never put a parent with such a tough choice........ life, no matter at what stage is precious.

Well, that's a tough one.... yes, the choice should be given to the girl for sure to have an abortion or not, however, the problem here is our society, where they love to label stuff as halal/haram or in this particular case legitimate or illegitimate, and the ensuing stigma(s) that never leave a person (mother/father).....

In my personal view, fix the god damn society or immigrate to a more tolerable one, instead of killing an innocent soul...........

Here I quote the Holy Quran: (Al Maidah - 5:32)

"Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, [even] after that, throughout the land, were transgressors."

Does the scripture (don't quote me Hadees, I don't have faith in any ONE of them), discriminate between a grown man, a child or a unborn infant? No, it doesn't. So why do we? Answer is simple, we are enslaved by society, not by Islam's teachings.....

A rape baby destroys a woman's life and heck "it's" own.. Sure its but the baby's fault .. But --- nobody accepts it... In most cases not even the mother.. It's better to abort it rather than destroying two lives..

As you said..... 'better to' because of society........ it's never religion that restricts us from doing the 'right thing', but society and norms........ Pakistan / Saudia and most so called 'Islamic States' and fascist right-wingers are ALL about "what people will say", rather than what would the Almighty approve or disapprove of......... Pakistan and Pakistani's are in a constant state of quandary...... we cherry pick things we like and always have some hadees in waiting to calm our nervous souls, instead of just picking up the Holy Book and going through it......

yea even though its not fault of child in this scenario but he may be a constant reminder of rape for girl and she or her family /future husband may not accept this kid

Also we need to eliminate thos reasons for which people prefer boys over girls or abort girls otherwise no use of just giving them this lecture that girls are blessing when they need some physical hand to help them in their old age or at the time of need when they depend on someone else

Somebody ask the true Muslamans what their newfound logic does when their daughter is raped. Also there is a terrible secret with unwanted pregnancy that one of the people they worship here is very familiar with.

I never seen the rape cases but I have seen some secret abortion in cases of pre martial affairs

1. Not ALL the nations look down upon.
2. Give the girl some psyche counseling (on the lines of the one given to PTSD / rape patients), before offering her the 'abort' option..... educate and reform (NOT) antagonize and force (my quote, I hereby copyright ALL possible derivations of it)
