Swamps and mangroves are important not only for wildlife but they absorb water and prevent flooding

Why were you traveling so early ??

That was during the solar eclipse. Had to leave early to beat the traffic and get to the best spot to see it at the perfect time. My dad is a huge astronomy buff.

One reason the phrase "drain the swamp" pisses me off. I understand the sentiment, but swamps are in no way a bad thing. To compare the corrupt DC establishment to swamps is an insult to swamps.
